Lots of lookers and no one interested?? I find it funny that everyone asks for the tiny ones, no body asks for the bigger healthy ones?? LOL:D

I love bigger yorkies :) Miko is 10.5 lbs at almost 3 yrs old, and he is my sweet baby boy :)

Your pup is a total cutie! I love his face :) I think lots of people look for the bigger ones not just the smaller ones, particularly people with kids. Good luck in finding him a home :) I'm sure you'll find someone wonderful!

It's funny b/c I too wanted a tiny.
I am so thankful mine turned out to be a little bigger than tiny.
TJ is 7lbs - Roxy is about 5.5 lbs.

I look at TJ and he is just the perfect size (even if he were a little bigger, I wouldn't care!), especially if we were to have children. I think it is better for us that mine are not tiny! JMO

I think your little guy is precious. Even 'if' he were to reach 10 lbs, to me that's small :D

Thanks all, I'm sure he find a forever home soon, I just get upset when all I get is telephone calls for the tiny ones.. I do understand that people want small but 7-8 lbs is small. And isn't healthy better than anything else. I never had anyone call me and say I want a healthy one!!;)

If I can't find a good home around here. I will have to ship him. I have another thread opened about shipping and I have received a lot of good reliable information about shipping, so if anyone is interested I will talk to them about shipping.

:confused: I wish when my son was 12 weeks old someone could have told me that at 15 years old he would be 6'3 and weigh 250lbs. I probably could have got more for him and he's still growing:D I paid $700 for my baby girl and she is within AKC standards.

If healthy was better, in my eyes healthy is better. I guess I would still charge my asking price for the others $750 for the boys and $1000 for the girls.;)

Karen - what an absolute cutie!! I sure wish I could get him (but I don't want to sleep on the couch - which is where I'd be if I bring one more yorkie in the house!). Have you thought about doing a Yorkie Railroad when his new, forever home is found? If you do, I'd be more than happy to help - provided the railroad goes through my part of town. Not sure if that is even an option because I'm sure you want to meet the new owners but - if that is one, let me know what I can do to help.

I agree 7-8 lbs is a SMALL fellow. He is really cute too! The family that gets him is gonna be real lucky ;)

Oh, he is so cute...looks like a little teddy bear!!:luvu: I own a Yorkie that is larger than the standard and we adore him!!!!! We didn't know that he would get as big as he is, but we did pick him over his tiny brother because we thought he had such a teddy bear face.

Thanks Tammy, If people could see him in person, I'm sure they would fall in love.. He is a doll and his personality is the best. I will however be placing an ad in the local papers by this time tomorrow. So if anyone would like to get him, now is your chance.

Oh by the way, at 8 weeks he weighed 2lbs 13 oz and now because he is so active he has only grown around 2oz and maybe won't be as big as I first thought.

I found a really good home with someone from YT, but I can't bring myself to ship him.. I don't know whats wrong with me.??!!
Maybe down the line I will ship one and realize I've been a fool all this time!:(

You really should think more about shipping. I have heard good things about Delta...do you have this provider where you live? My puppy will have to be shipped to me and once I start breeding, I expect to have to do the same.

shipping scares me as well. I dont think I could do it. I'm not sure if I'd ever get over that fear. People do it all the time though. Good luck to ya. Hope it all works out in the end.

Shipping would scare me as well...

I just waned to also say HE IS ADORABLE!! I prefer the larger guys myself :) Jake is 5lbs right now...We are hoping for 7-8 (or more is fine too!!)...My Sammi was 15 :)
