Suzysmittm, the add below was put up by you in another thread but you never replied to this thread. Is this the same dog you are selling in this first ad? The description is almost the same except for the cataracts and the price has skyrocketed. What makes the price go up to $1700, or is one of these adds a typo? I hope you get her sold, but please explain so those interested can understand. I am a bit  NAME Suzanne Smith STATE Spring Hill, Florida PHONE NUMBER 352-419-0133 EMAIL ADD yorkiecute@hotmail YORKIES FOR SALE ONE FEMALE How Old 3 years BIRTHDATE 2004 WEIGHT OF YORKIES Unknow CURRENT WEIGHT OF PUPPY 2.0 POUNDS CURRENT REG AKC Not registered PRICE 1700.00 $100 READY TO GO (NOW) I DO NOT SHIP Gwen is handy capped she has half an ear, Cataracts that were fixed, and she has one bad legged; however she can run as Fast as any other dog. $75 to $1700 price jump? Wow.. |
why wouldn't a 3yr old 2pd yorkie be potty trained? poor dog |
I'm also curious as to why she is selling a handicapped yorkie when, in another post, she is applying to adopt Kaylee in Florida from the United Yorkie Rescue. ??? You're rescuing one dog and selling another handicapped dog?? |

Guys... Lets try not to JUMP to conclusions.... It looks like the post said "1700 $100" it think that it must have been a typo... It looks to me like she lowered the price $25.00... And I think we all know of a tiny dog who is NOT potty trained at 3 years old... Some live in apartments and don't have access, some live in extream weather, some have elderly owners.... Some are not as easy as others and some owners are not a perfect as other owners. They don't have egale eyes and not everything gets caught and the potty training nightmares for some never end. She's a long time member judging by the post count... I'll admit I don't "know" her on a personal level, but I just don't want to see everyone start picking her post apart... We don't know the whole story and if she comes back and finds accusing posts she may not respond and you might not get the whole story... I for one would like to know more about this little girl... It sounds like she needs a good home, for whatever reason, and I know someone here at YT can help... |

I would really like her. I've had several handicapped dogs in my life and I don't mind the potty training issue either. In fact Alexis isn't house trained and it doesn't bother me one bit. I don't think I could get this one because with 4 kids I can't just jump on a plane and go and get her. I'd love to though! |
In retrospect and upon reading several of Gwen's mommy's posts, it's very evident that Suzy loves her kids. So, I guess I will just ask why she is rehoming Gwen. Has Gwen always had this handicap or is a recent injury that caused it? Has the vet deemed this an untreatable handicap? I think, as far as the price goes, that she's saying Gwen is valued at $1700, but is only selling her for $100 (and now $75). I think that once she answers the various inquiries that have not yet been answered, everything will not seem so curious. |
Well said Kathryn ;) Elaine. |
hope she finds a home but when i see older dogs not house trained it makes me think they have been kept outside caged or in kennels i guess it makes sense a dog so small 2lb would be harder to house train but they can't help it we have to tend to them and teach them. |

Gwen has been a member here for a long time. I think this was just a typo on her part. |
I would love to have Gwen. Im home 24/7 and theres just me and Hubby now, My kids are grown and live on their own. I have took care of many handicapped dogs before. Please let me know. |
I was looking at past threads and saw the one you posted on Gwen having kennel cough, does she still have it? http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=8610 |
