Why are you looking to rehome her? |
The Reason I planned on breeding Feliz (actually awesome yorkies), and spent two years locating the best blood lines from outside the US. Waiting for her mother to be granted AKC US status. There are Brazilian champions in her history, which are not recognized by the AKC registration process. I wanted to improve the bloodlines here in the US. I have spent a great deal of energy and time on Feliz being close to perfect. My direction has changed, and thus Feliz is now available for the first time to a lucky person. She knows the word quiet, is quiet by nature, and not yappy. Her coat is almost breathtaking in person. She is fearless, and shows great joy and love to be with us, and will also show her new people. She has many years to offer beauty, joy and happiness. Her bloodlines deserve the right chance. And she deserves a happy place. |

she so beautiful  |
Hey a bit off subject but I grew up in Ojai. Graduated from Nordhoff HS. I lived up in Skyline estates and lived on Alto Dr. Where are you located? Your girl is beautiful. Is she as silvery as she appears in the pics? |
Hi Yes, she is as beautiful as the pictures. And because of this, I can not give out my location exactly until I have a serious buyer, and at that point, I will have to meet someone in a public location. I don't want to become a news item. Thanks for understanding. |

Hi Tami No problem. You just hear of dog napping a little too often in my neck of the woods these days. The Topa Topas are beautiful. It is really getting cold. All of the trees have dropped their leaves. We are about 15 minutes from the lake. =-) |
I could see Lake Casitas from my house. I used to ride my horse down the trail along 33. My first job was at Carrows and we camped at Wheelers' Gorge. Oh memory lane. Good luck rehoming your girl. |
Still Available Felitz turns two in 2 weeks. Best possible home/situation, asking price neg. (OBO) on best home. |

For instance, I think her silver color is gorgeous, but....that's not at all the "standard", is it? |
Wow! she's a beauty:thumbup: |

Heres a copy of the standard. It says the silver blue is not the standard a steel blue is. I have always paiid attention to this because I have a girl who is the standard except she has the silver bllue color. General Appearance That of a long-haired toy terrier whose blue and tan coat is parted on the face and from the base of the skull to the end of the tail and hangs evenly and quite straight down each side of body. The body is neat, compact and well proportioned. The dog's high head carriage and confident manner should give the appearance of vigor and self-importance. Head Small and rather flat on top, the skull not too prominent or round, the muzzle not too long, with the bite neither undershot nor overshot and teeth sound. Either scissors bite or level bite is acceptable. The nose is black. Eyes are medium in size and not too prominent; dark in color and sparkling with a sharp, intelligent expression. Eye rims are dark. Ears are small, V-shaped, carried erect and set not too far apart. Body Well proportioned and very compact. The back is rather short, the back line level, with height at shoulder the same as at the rump. Legs and Feet Forelegs should be straight, elbows neither in nor out. Hind legs straight when viewed from behind, but stifles are moderately bent when viewed from the sides. Feet are round with black toenails. Dewclaws, if any, are generally removed from the hind legs. Dewclaws on the forelegs may be removed. Tail Docked to a medium length and carried slightly higher than the level of the back. Coat Quality, texture and quantity of coat are of prime importance. Hair is glossy, fine and silky in texture. Coat on the body is moderately long and perfectly straight (not wavy). It may be trimmed to floor length to give ease of movement and a neater appearance, if desired. The fall on the head is long, tied with one bow in center of head or parted in the middle and tied with two bows. Hair on muzzle is very long. Hair should be trimmed short on tips of ears and may be trimmed on feet to give them a neat appearance. Colors Puppies are born black and tan and are normally darker in body color, showing an intermingling of black hair in the tan until they are matured. Color of hair on body and richness of tan on head and legs are of prime importance in adult dogs, to which the following color requirements apply: Blue: Is a dark steel-blue, not a silver-blue and not mingled with fawn, bronzy or black hairs. Tan: All tan hair is darker at the roots than in the middle, shading to still lighter tan at the tips. There should be no sooty or black hair intermingled with any of the tan. Color on Body The blue extends over the body from back of neck to root of tail. Hair on tail is a darker blue, especially at end of tail. Headfall A rich golden tan, deeper in color at sides of head, at ear roots and on the muzzle, with ears a deep rich tan. Tan color should not extend down on back of neck. Chest and Legs A bright, rich tan, not extending above the elbow on the forelegs nor above the stifle on the hind legs. Weight Must not exceed seven pounds. She appears too light & I really can't see her topline or her face......Her tail isn't held erect at 45 degrees. Can you post a picture of her in a stack and with her hair away from her face. I'd like to be able to see her ear set, muzzle and head carriage a little better. Thanks. |

But you're right, that makes the "true" standard kind of hard to recognize, especially for those who are new to yorkies. And $3,000 is a lot of money. I'd just hate to see someone pay that much, and not get what they thought they were getting. (ie, as advertised, a "perfect" example of the yorkie standard) |

I agree...........ex: I love bunny ears (long ones) :D |
She doesn't have a show coat. She also looks more silky than Yorkie. Why are you asking so much for her? And why in the world would you want someone to breed this poor baby? If you don't want her I'd take her and have her spayed and let a friend of mine who is retired and lives in San Jose have her. Poor girl. I guess she's just a commodity. |
