Parti, Chocolate, or ? Wanted
 
Okay.. So I thought I had found a puppy that I was going to buy but it didn't work out.. Soo.. I have ultimately decided that I want a yorkie who isn't black and tan, blue and tan, blue and gold or what have you..

I want a parti yorkie, possibly a biewer, a chocolate yorkie, or any other color.. just not a born BLUE yorkie..

The yorkie doesn't need to be a puppy just not much over a year.. I may be able to stretch to 2 years depending on the size.. I don't want to get him/her until after February, but I will put a deposit down...

I'm kind of expecting to get bashed for it since they aren't "showable" but I'm not showing ... Its worth a try

Someone here on YT has put a deposit down for a chocolate yorkie and she is pretty sure she won't be able to get her anymore and if she can't get her, she wants her to go to a YTer. Send a Private Message to mizzwanned and ask her for an update and tell her you are interested in getting her, if you are.

I don't think you'll get bashed. Wait...yeah, you might catch some grief, but who cares.
If you know what you're looking for, even if some don't agree, I think it's best you come to a breed organized forum like this, right?
I don't have what you're looking for as I'm only a trainer and exhibitor, but I do know that there are plenty of owners and breeders out there on here that like I said will have what you're looking for, or know someone that does. :)
Keep your chin up, you'll find just the right little one in no time! :thumbup:

You know what you want and if your not breeding what is the big deal....No one on this site has the right to tell you what you want and how to spend your money.....Good Luck in finding your baby....:)

I love the coloring of chocolate yorkies -- I think they are so pretty. Good luck finding the right one for you.

I did find breeder in Ohio that has "Biewers" for sale. I use the term lightly because they are $1500 with papers and $1000 without. She said thats the price of them with less than 60% white.. With more than 60% white she said I'll be looking into the $5000 range. That why I'm thinking they are just partis from Germany (she mentioned German parents).. She also has chocolate and tans but I would much rather get a puppy or young adult from a YTer so it not just some out of the blue breeder..

In her post it says she'd prefer not to ship...

I may be willing to fly for the first time depending on the price of the plane ticket (I saw one for $500 and I can't afford that).. I'm somewhat fearful of planes but will do what I need to find the perfect yorkie.

That is a new one for me. I've never heard of Biewers being priced by the percentage of white. lol

I've never heard of someone charging more for white on the biewers either! There are standards that the dogs must meet and perhaps they are charging less for ones that don't meet standard?? I don't know, that seems VERY odd to me!!

I haven't found an over abundence of information on them. I didn't even know they were to have white chests, and tummy's till I read it there. They are kinda cool looking. ........justus

LOL! Thats ok! Biewers are a beautiful breed!!! But its a very young breed and there is sooo much more to learn! There is alot of information out there, you just have to look a bit harder for it! But its becoming more and more known to people and thats a good thing! We want people to be educated about this breed and to know what is the standard...so that when they go to buy one, they in fact are getting a true Biewer! There are sooo many breeders out ther breeding these babies, and they are doing whatever they feel like doing. There is a set standard.

Please chack out this site! I know I already posted it, but we have lots and lots of useful info there! And if you have any questions, please feel free to pm me or email me. My email is on the site!!!!!!!

A reputable breeder would not sell a Biewer like this. Biewers have a standard and should have registration papers. The Biewers originated in Germany and the Parti's originated in the US. Do you have a link to this person's website?

If you use the search tool on YT you will find lots of information on Biewers as there a number of Biewer breeders who are on this website.

No pomeranian in them -- they are a breed unto themselves. Since they have their own standards which are different from the Yorkshire Terrier -- I don't think they are pure Yorkies -- they are pure Biewers. But you will get all sorts of opinions on this one :)

No, AKC does not recognize the Biewer as yet, and I am not sure if that will happen -- I have read that to allow a new breed, they must acknowledge that it was derived from at least 3 breeds.

I wondered the same thing. Then I thought maybe F1 puppies?? But then I doubted it because of the more or less 60% comment. There are so many Biewers that fit the standard with less than 60% white.
It's seems very odd to me too.

I don't understand the 60% white. Could you direct me to where you found the standard that says 60% white? This is the first I've heard of 60%. Thanks for the information in advance.

Sorry... This was weeks ago that I talked to the woman... She didn't have pictures of the litter but she did of the father and he's darn near pure white.. Here is the website... The father of the litter I was interested in is Fritz.. This breeder and her friend (who I think helps her sell them - spoke to the friend not the breeder herself) are the ones that charge for the amount of white...
