Maggie is a very sweet grl. She is spayed and up to date on shots. Easy to bathe, brush and even blow dry. Is great with kids even little ones. Good with other dogs although seems to be a little dominant. Takes time to warm up to you but when she does is a love. would probably be good at obedience and agility with training. Love to jump in your lap for a pet but not the type to sit in your lap forever. She is crate trained and about 90% housebroken, if you stick to a schedule she does great, only the occassional accident. She likes to go for walks, does ok in the car, and will spend hours playing with her toys

you are probably wondering after reading all of this why we are getting rid of her. Our house is just to busy for her, with 5 kids and all that goes on here she is stressed out alot. After we all discussed it we decided she needs to be somewhere where she will be kept on her schedule and with a few less children. I got her two months ago and the first week or so she wouldn't come near us and we have found if she thinks you are even a little upset with her she cowers, and if she does have an accident if she is in the room when you find it she will belly crawl . She eats in her crate and will gladly go in it when you tell her. I wouldn't leave her out free though as she is a garbage picker, and tries to pull down the gates. She is originally a pet store dog but was never registered, she does have a microchip but that was never registered either.

Come on guys not one person is interested in a Yorkie for $200.00?
I will add that she has only had one accident this week and that was my fault, I over slept so she didn't go out at her normal time.

I would be willing to work with someone if they are not happy with the fee. I thought it was a good price or maybe work something out in trade?

There's nothing wrong with your fee. Just give it a little time. Perhaps someone within your area will see this and want her. She's adorable. Most of us will be too far away, but hopefully someone close enough to pick her up will see this.:)

Your fee is actually on the low side, so I don't think that is the problem. Sometimes it just takes some time for people to see the listing, and many of us are in other states. Your girl is so cute and whoever gets her will be so lucky to get a sweet girl like her :D

Asking a fee will help to protect her from going into the wrong situation. Know what I mean?:)

Yeah, thats what I told hubby, she is a part of the family and I am trying to do right by her.

I was hoping someone took her by now, she's so cute! There have been several inquiries for "cheaper" priced yorkies, maybe they're not in your area.

I was hoping someone would want her also. Someone is getting a really good dog if they adopt her. I would love to see her go somewhere with another dog/dogs and even some children. She is so good with my three year old, that is part of the reason it breaks my heart to place her. I just want her to be happy and she just isn't happy here.

Hope you find a home for her soon! Please don't lower the price, if she were closer I'd be working on hubby right now...someone will want her, and by charging a fee, you should weed out anyone with bad intentions.

She will be getting back in tough with me later. :animal36 I will let you know what she says. She has had yorkie's for over 12 years and just lost one. Would like a older yorkie like yours.

I live in Ma on the Cape... I have a 6 month old male Yorkie... do ya think they would get along???? I have no idea what my hubby would say but I could ask him!!!
