My GOSH!!! can't we all just get along and throw the anger out the window. I know personal lives may not be so good but come on guys you don't need to take it out on the newbies.
I rather thought I gave some good information and a good website to help this person if she does indeed want good lines. No reputable breeder is going to be too willing to send any dog anywhere to someone who doesn't know much about the breed and just wants to breed.

its not anger...its information we need to u/s and need to ask. this thread will help alot of new comers to yorkie talk. this is how we learn. if we don't ask these questions, then we are the irresponsible ones.

You did give very good information. :thumbup: Above and beyond if you ask me.

As far as this member being attacked, I believe that if you read the first few posts made by this member alone, you cannot possibly deny that things just did not add up. Going on that information given alone, I believe that the responses recieved were what could be expected.

Honestly, the 'quit being so mean' lectures are getting old. Ironically, it's not the responses themselves that are criticized--for the most part, they are just stating the obvious, what everyone is thinking, but afraid to say--it's the 'way they were stated.'

In all due respect Lorraine, this is HARD to do when you are just starting out. I say this from experience. I respect you and LOVE LOVE LOVE your babies and find myself going to your site very often for a quick look. But in reality, this is not something that can be established so quicky and "some" have to start a with a little less expectations. But doesn't mean they shouldn't strive for the best. I know what you meant. But everyone doesn't (and didn't) have that luxary.

She stated she wants to improve on her line. This may NOT be the best place to do that, but can you blame her for trying.

Bama- NO I WOULDN'T to answer your question. But I feel that she is new just like YOU or ANYONE was at some point in time and shouldn't have been given such a CRAPPY welcoming.

That's what I thought. Would you care to elaborate on WHY? I'm sure you'd be doing alot of repeating what you just put others down for saying. Being new--be it this person, me or you, isn't the issue...the situation and the way it was brought is what people didn't like and spoke against.
Again, I see you don't neccessarily disagree with what I said, just the way it was presented.

I'd be happy to elaborate "why" Bama. Because I don't know her from Adam! If I did, that would be a different story. Hopefully if she is legit she WILL get to know some ethical breeders and will be able to move forward. She SURE WASN'T given that opp here was she????? I didn't put any other's "down" for anything. I agree you did give good information your about the only one that did. There should be more responses like yours. I was going to say you were the only one that did post a helpful response but I could not go back in to edit my first response.

It sounded like anger to me, there's no problem to ask someone a question, but there's a difference between asking and attacking.
