I looked at your website they are all so cute! I love the litter's theme- Rod Stewart songs! |
The plan is to name most all the kids after Rod Stewart songs. There will be a few named after others but mainly Rod. |
Is Reva from one of Anne Wylies dogs??? I love Annes yorkies!! |

I spoke with her last week. She was a wealth of information and very helpful. She was very sweet and kind. Seems as though someone from YT ( who really does not know me- has not taken the time to try and hear both sides, verify what is fact and or fiction - had been told things about me by a third party) had contacted her. Anne contacted me and I returned her phone call. She is such a professional that she wanted to talk to me and hear what I had to say and make up her own unbiased mind. She listened with a open heart and mind. We will be having many more conversations in the future. I can say - I only wish there were more like her. She does not jump to conclusions - she investigates and makes up her own mind. I feel very fortuante to have been able to aquire these kids. I know that they will be able to make a big impact for me in my breeding program. There were three puppies in this litter- 2 females and one male. I have to keep one of the girls no doubt in my mind. My mind was always caught by this little male. I am hoping that he keeps all the same attributes that I see in him at this time. He is a baby and a lot can change between now and 12 weeks of age. My friend and handler Peggy has looked at the kids and likes what she see. I loved the look of Anne's dogs and the pedigree's also. She has done extensive work to be able to breed the consistent type and quality of Yorkie that she is known for. My problem is that I just got the other two adult males- Corky and Shane. There is a limit to the number of males that I can have. I will end up with all boys and no females. LOL I am hoping that I can find the right show home for this male if he stays on target. If the right home does not appear- then I will have him neutered and placed as a pet. Sayra's daughter Rachel was also bred to Sam. There is a very nice male out of that breeding also. So I am very torn as to who to keep and who to place. Wish that I could keep them all and let Peggy show them. My pocket book is not that deep. LOL. It is all in the Man upstairs hands. He has and will take care of me and help me make the right choices. Being able to add Anne's females and their puppies is just another example of how he provided just what I needed and what I needed and when I needed it. I have a lot to be thankful for. |

Puppies are lovely but don't understand what you are stating about a third party on YT talking about you to another party on YT? Is there something we should know about and be careful of? |
I am sure that you have known people who like to gossip- will be told something whether it is fact or fiction and spread it on to others. Some of these folks will add their own twist on to the story. The IMO the adult way to handle situations is to talk with the person look at all the facts and then make a decision. When someone makes a decision because a friend of theirs does not like you is sad. I admire Ann- she was contacted by a third person and told some things about me that needed to be confirmed. We spoke- I was up front about why this person would " stir the pot". I spoke of my goals and dreams and expectations. I feel that I made a new friend of Anne and a wonderful contact. She will be able to help me with the information that I need on breeding the girls with her bloodlines. Many of the folks here on YT know of my legal issue with another breeder. I had a suit filed against me and filed a countersuit. My deposition was taken about a week or so ago. The suit has to due with contracts- the legality of those contracts and misrepresentations that are in the contracts written by the breeder. There have been several folks who have seen the contracts and what and why I am fighting this nonsense. One party in particular was alarmed because this same breeder had caused her undue grief in a situation that had some of the same patterns of behavior. Is there more that I can do against this breeder-and the third party friends yes there is- when third parties contact others by- email and try to harm me they can be dragged into this lawsuit. When they are stating information that pertains to the deposition and what they are stating is untrue. The only person who would have been able to tell them anything fact or fiction is the breeder who filed the lawsuit. If any of these folks are members of the Parent club- all the things that have been done that Violate The Code of Ethics and behaviors can be reported. Violations against the rules and regulations of the AKC rules can be reported to the many different departments. For example lets say someone wants to become a Judge with the AKC- I have been told that I could submit examples to the Judicial branch of the AKC of this person's behavior and how that could reflect on them as a Judge and the reputation of the AKC. The AKC will determine if the documentation that I have is worthy of consideration and will ask this person for their side of the story. You can't just say- so and so did this- you have to have the documented proof. It can all become rather ugly and messy- when there is no reason to drag it threre. There are more reputatiions other then my own that will be drug in the mud. I had tried to be respectful and not say names and give specific instances. That is why I have a attorney and try my best to let him do his job. That was what he was paid for. Hard at times to keep my silence and to not let everyone hear my side of the story and see all my documentation, tell them the story of the other person who was harmed by this breeder. If the other party does not decide to drop the suit- then this will go before a Jurry for them to decide. I asked for a Jurry trial. Everything will then come out all the documents will be there for all to see. Boy would I love to have a class on contracts 101 here on YT- talk about the pitfalls and what you need to look for. |
Wow!! It seems the only person I see talking about lawsuits and stuff is you. I have seen this on several sites now and I am not understanding what this has to do with us as pet owners? I think it would be better if you just post about the puppies for sale and not involve us all in your personal legal battles. |

I know that you will not have trouble placing your male. I hope the very best for you. It seems that you allow God to guide you and in that respect you can't go wrong. |
Missed the point.... Quote:
I think it is obvious what the point is.......Kathy is telling you without telling you to just know your stuff...when it comes to contracts.....that is important in life in general. Everything else aside.....as pet owners it may not affect you....but, I read it for what it was....FYI.. No offense taken here... |
I'm sorry to hear about this Kathy. I don't know you, but I do know that any kind of legal battle is stressful! Good Luck & Best Wishes for a fast conclusion to this ordeal. :) |

I stated in one of my first postings that he would need to stay on target. I am not stating that at 6 weeks of age he is guaranteed show- he looks nice at this time. He has a cobby body- bite looks good- not timid- earset placement is nice- good topline. I also stated that a lot can change in a puppy until they three months of age. I also stated that he is available at 12 weeks of age. At 12 weeks of age I would place him in a pet home for $1,500.00 that would include shipping and neutering and a 1 year health warranty. He is more then likely to be placed in a wonderful loving pet home. At 12 weeks of age I would may consider him a show prospect. At Six months of age or older - he may be show potential. Will I keep him until six months - not likely. Someone will call who wants a nice pet and I will place him. I have the adult males that I will be getting ready to show and do not need another male at this time. Would I guarantee a six month old who I deem to be Show- Yes under certain conditions- such as who is taking the dog out and showing it. A dog may be wonderful - but have poor training, grooming and conditioning once it leaves your home. Those are things that I have no control over and can have a big decision on the puppy and his show sucess. The reason that I have mentioned the legal issues - is becasue there is a certain group on YT- who PM others - call them on the phone and E-mail them regarding the situation and say a lot of untrue things about me. They do not have both sides of the story and take no interest in finding out both sides. They do not have the consideration to contact me and find out what happened. They enjoy spreading gossip. I was trying to take the bull by the horns. I have nothing to be ashamed of. No it does not take two to tango in some situations. Sometimes you have to take a stand and defend yourself- which I have done. I have a new friend out of this situation who feels that if she had stood up to this same party a year ago- this would never would have happened to me. |

I have been in the dog world a short time and have heard alot of GOSSIP. Just because someone states something about another breeder does not make it true! You keep referring to a certain group on YT, so if what you are stating is the truth you should state the names of the people from this certain group. I personally feel like you are talking in circles? |
What is the big deal? She is selling her male yorkie and she wanted to just get it out in the open that she is involved in some sort of litigation. I talk about non-yorkie stuff ALL THE TIME on this forum. Yeah, this forum is called YorkieTalk, but the yorkies are the things that bring us together as friends. That doesn't mean taht we can't talk about other things. I respect you for just laying it all out there and not try to hide anything. I would MUCH rather you do that than be like some people who have gotten on here to sell yorkies and just lied lied lied. It takes a strong person to admit when something is up and just get on with it. |
P.S. -- I just wanted to tell ya that I LOVE the idea of naming them all after Rod Stewart songs! I am a HUGE Rod Stewart fan. I wanted to name my little girl Maggie Mae. :p |

Please re-read what I posted in the earlier threads. The baby will not be available until at least 12 weeks of age. The baby is not leaving to go to a new home until 12 weeks. This is a litter announcement. There is a puppy from this litter that will be able to be purchased. I do not know how to make things clearer to you. If this boy is around at 6 months of age and I consider him to be show qaulity he will be priced at $2,000.00 If he is placed as a pet- he will be able to leave at 12 weeks as a companion, if someone wants to take a chance on him at 12 weeks up to six months he is a prospect. He will have a years health warranty Prospect means there is no guarantee of being show quality. Six months of age and up he could be a show quality puppy if he would continue to stay with in the breed standard. If I place him as show it means that he can be finished under the correct conditions. Grooming ,Care handler and ETC. Would I replace a puppy that I placed as show and it was pet quality- YOU BET I WOULD. I want to be able to hold my head up and say that kid is out of my breeding. Look at that baby I am so proud of him/her and the babies owner look at what they have worked to accomplish. It is not unusual to have a puppy catch your eye and watch it grow as a potential buyer. People will contact you for a female for example- she can be darling- you keep the folks informed as to how the baby is doing. Send pictures and tell them if she is growing- if they want a companion what you think her size will be- if show or breeding- will she be large enough- what you do or do not like about the puppy. This helps the buyer make a better choice as to their needs and wants in a puppy. Not every litter will have a puppy that is good enough to show or breed. As a breeder I only want the best that I can produce used for show and or breeding. If I did not have the adult males might I consider this male for myself- maybe. I can not keep every puppy- would like to. I am keeping this guys sister as my hopefull for next year. My handler looked at the puppies and felt that the female is what I need. I also have another litter that has 2 males- and one female. I am keeping the female from this litter also. I am sorry that you feel that I talk in circles. I have tried to be adult to not come out and say- so and so said this about me. I am in hopes that the situation will resolve in the next few weeks. It hurts when people who have never been to your home tell others that you have over 100 dogs of different breeds. It comes back to you with so and so said this. I have been looking for those other breeds and the 90 dogs that I seem to have lost - still can't find them. LOL It hurts when people say that you don't work- cause you live off your dogs. If that was the case I would have starved-I have had two litters to date for the year. One born in June and one in July. It hurts when others tell that you have had 20 litters of puppies for the year. Can't find those puppies either. Try walking in my shoes for six months and listening to the wild stories they keep getting bigger and wilder. I kept silent for many months- |
Kathy you have my best wishes, try not to listen to what anyone says trust me your life will be so much clamer lol, Gossip will get anyone no where but sometimes I think who ever starts it just dont have anything better to do with their life then just start stuff so go on with your life and dont listen to it. |
I had a wise lady tell me one day at a show to only believe half of what you see and none of what you hear! I think that saying is very true. |
The funny thing about the whole legal issue is that people who hear the gossip will sometimes contact me. I can share my documentation and let them speak to others who have been hurt by this group. They can look at my side since they were gave the other and make their own decision. Bottom line being that in the long run they are shooting themselves in the foot. These actions can go back to the AKC and also the YTCA governing boards. I am sitting here on documentation that I filed with the Attorney Generals Office here in Indiana. They need some information that I forgot to send to them to proceed. Once this is in the States hands then it can become very nasty for this breeder. The State will look at records of income and what has been turned into them as well as The IRS and what is represented by them in the contracts. They will look at where the breeder is located and if they have all the legal permits and licenses to conduct the business and who else has had problems. They can shut them down for good as long as they live in the present location or for anywhere else in this state in the future. I have held onto this in the hopes that it would not have to go that far. I really do not want to ruin this persons life. Will I follow through- it is up to the breeder. They will be the ones who has to go and talk with the Attorney General and explain their actions . Basically I just want them and their cronies out of my life, my dogs life and the foul and untrue comments to stop. I just want to have fun showing the dogs. I have done some exciting things in the past few months. I have aquired some great Yorkies- with great pedigrees that will be able to produce some outstanding kids for the show ring. I am excited- God has opened a garage door for me and the blessings keep comimg. |
I was watching Oprah today and the psychologist on there today said that gossip is a tell-tale sign of self-hatred. All you can do is feel sorry for those who talk so ugly about others. It is nothing against you...they actually have personal issues that they need to deal with. Sorry you're having to go through this :( |

Sorry no blackmail. What a deep dark mind you have. I am within my legal rights to file my complaints with the AKC, The YTCA and my State Attorney Generals office. I had hoped that all of this could be settled with dignity and as adults. I have held off sending this information because I was afraid of them at a point in time. Threats were made that forced entry could be made to take the dogs when I was or was not at home. Try living with that for a few months- it can be rather frightening. I have children-who could have been hurt if that situation had arisen. At this time I am no longer afraid of them. I feel very sorry for them. That is why I have not sent it on. Then I sit and think if I don\'t send it on will there be another person in 6 months who they have treated the same way. If I don\'t try and stop them I am giving them the green light to cause hurt and pain to another innocent person. I have been dared and double dared. Sometimes you have to stand up for what you feel is right and legal. If it goes to court my attorney has filed for a Jury trial. Will be very interesting conversation. |

I would like to see a thread started on Contracts. What to look for and what to ask for when buying and breeding. I got stung by both with my breeder. If a old bird like myself can get taken a person new to the world of dogs and the contracts can really step into the manure. I think that it could be very educational for all. Tricky wording to look for can be clarified will make all of us a better consumer. Also there are things required by the YTCA and the AKC when a animal is purchased. Would just make you more informed. |
