I am looking for a female Yorkie. I am willing to travel to pick her up. I had found one here in Louisiana, but I am afraid that she will be too small when fully grown. I do not plan to breed, just don't want my others to hurt her while playing. Any help would be appreciated.

Well if all else fails you can get on breeders.net and search.

I live in Houma....way down south.

I was born in Houma and pretty much ALL of my family still lives there.

I am also looking for a female yorkie but one on the small side. Gracie is 3 pounds, full grown, so I want her sister to be around the same size.

Thanks for all of the replies and PM's. We are still planning to get a female, but decided to wait a until the dust settles around here. My step daughter really wants one for her birthday, she understands that it will have to be a belated birthday gift though. Again, Thanks!

There are a few decent breeders in LA but my experience with several have not been very honest. I am sure there are people on here who can give you names of good ones..
