Looking for small female puppy for a pet only in SC area Hi, I am looking for a small female yorkie. I have been looking for a while now, and not having any luck. I live in Anderson, SC, but am willing to travel 2 hours or so to find "the one." I am married and have a 6 year old daughter. I'm just looking for a puppy to love and spoil! I can't talk my husband into any more children, so this will be my baby!!! I would like to keep this under $800. Please let me know if you have or will have any puppies in my area. Thanks so very much! Ashley

Most reputable breeders will encourage you to get a larger Yorkie with a child that young. Not saying it's impossible but it might be safer to try and find one that is at least 7-8 lbs. full grown.

Thanks so much for the warm welcome. My husband actually found my "Isabelle" (Izzy) today here in my hometown. She is 12 weeks old and weighs 2 pounds. She is sooo cute. I went and saw her today and am going back to pick her up tomorrow afternoon. I am so excited! I'm sure I'll be a frequent poster here and asking lots of questions!

So happy for you. Post pix for us to see. I'm not so far away from you, if you're ever up this way, I'd love to see her.
