This is a beautiful litter!! The dam has a cottony coat and the sire has a silky coat. They are well loved, family raised, shots and are ready for their forever homes! The male would make a great stud and is $1,100. One of the females will be quite small and she is $1,500. Do you sell all your puppies w/full breeding rights or just to those who qualify? It seems to me (of concern) that anyone who wants to breed Yorkies can purchase a puppy from you & breed them...do you have a health guarantee & spay/neuter contract?

Wow, yes I have health guarantee, and as far as a spay/neuter contract, I base it on each person/puppy. I have never had an issue so you don't have to be concerned. Of course they wouldn't have rights to breed the small pup if she will be 3 lbs. although a lot of breeders breed a 4 lb. I personally have heard of the hostility that a lot of breeders receive on this site, but thought I would try it again..... if any of you are TRULY interested in any of my pups please càll me at 586-405-5955.

I don't think a breeder should advertise that a puppy can be used as a stud. It will attract all kinds of wrong people. Like I said, my questions were out of concern. Is there CH lines in your pup's that you would like to pass on? Are they Show quality? Please consider selling all your pups w/a strict spay & neuter contract. Those poor babies.

I don't see why asking you simple questions that all the people looking for a puppy should ask is considered hostile? I'm getting the hint that you added that small bit of info to insinuate that I was bring hostile towards you. It's just questions & you should be happy to answer them, not annoyed or whatever it is you're feeling.

No reputable breeder would breed a 4 lb female. And you contribute nothing to this site, and only use it to sell your puppies, which by your own admission come with full breeding rights for the "right family", which honestly reads "for the right price" and then you wonder why people ask questions???


Do you have a website? Are your breeding dogs tested? What tests are performed? What's your health guarantee look like? Can we see it? Why would anyone want to purchase a puppy from you if you can't answer the questions they ask? Why should they have to do it in email or by phone? Why can't you just answer them here on the forum?

Those who have nothing to hide, hide nothing....Not a thing about her breeding program anywhere...she is a back yard breeder, please tag appropriately.

The pups are 11 weeks old. You have ZERO basis for saying the male would make a great stud as he is neither Ch nor has he been health tested.

I try to stay out of post like this but as a Breeder I just can't. There is no way anyone no matter how long they have been Breeding can say an 11 week old puppy would make a good stud. Just because he has a penis and testicles does not mean he would make a good stud. There are genetic tests, pairing with the right female , temperament, whether the male conforms to the standard, if his structure is correct. Most importantly is the Health testing. No female should be bred regardless, if they are under 5 lbs and last but not least it is unethical and without morals to sell puppies with open registration unless all the previously listed things are followed. We already have way too many pets in rescues and shelters. JMHO

HOW DARE YOU!!! None of you know the slightest thing about me! This is SLANDEROUS to say the least!!! How dare any of you call me a "greeder not a breeder"!! To say "those poor puppies" and that I am a "backyard breeder"!! What are you people, Yorkie Nazis???!!! SHAME ON ALL OF YOU!!! FYI I LOVE Yorkies, would never put them in danger, and have been breeding for the last 20 years in my loving home, the old fashioned way, have had over 30 pups go to great families and NEVER had any health issues!!! My original line which I still breed from, has NEVER had any health problems and as far as the stud, he is DNA tested. I have brought a lot of joy to people's lives and keep in contact with most of them, of whom ALL would confirm that I am not "a backyard breeder"!! I do not sell to shady people!! I say he would make a good stud because I know his line, just like they did before all of the genetic testing was even available!! FYI, they don't have to be champions to make great studs and I am well aware of pairing with the right female, etc!! Also you are pretty naive to think that not giving one breeding rights would stop them from doing so; they just do it and dont register them with the AKC!! My friend/guru has been breeding Yorkies for over 40 YEARS (im sure longer than any of you) and is ONE of the ppl who told me how some of you are on here! Well then tell us about the testing you have done on your breeding pair.

And what did the DNA testing show on your stud? Is it the kind of testing that looks for genetic defects? If so, what genes does it test for? Or ... is it the kind of genetic testing that is used to prove the parentage of pups? If so, that doesn't do anything to prove health at all. So, please give us the purpose of the DNA test and what it showed.

Also, there is NO way to know if a little puppy will be worthy to breed at that age. Just ask any show breeder. They can breed two champions and they are lucky if 1 out of 4 of the offspring will grow up to be championable and worthy of breeding. Being from good lines does not guarantee anything.

I don't see any slander here. People are asking you honest questions that you won't answer, and the things they are pointing out are evident. Health contract? Selling with full breeding rights? Claiming an 11 week old is stud-worthy? No "greeders" have responded to you, just people that love Yorkies and have learned the hard way and paid through the nose in heartache and $$$ because at one time they didn't know about these red flags.

My comments about 'poor babies' was over a concern that unscrupulous people will breed them for money, you have confirmed my concern above, bolded. I think you should re-evaluate your advertising & not use sales gimmicks like 'will make a great stud'. I also think you should uphold a strict spay & neuter contract. Another thing, isn't your pricing a little too high for pet quality? One that doesn't come from a Championed sire or dam or both? It is apparent that you are a 'hobby' breeder, one that doesn't adhere to YTCA rules or do genetic health testing on your breeding stock. No slander, just stating facts as I see them...

First of all Just because he comes from great lines does not necessarily make him a great stud. I never implied they needed to be Champions to be great studs. I know alot of amazing progeny that were sired by non Champions. DNA testing is in no way shape or form the green light for healthy dogs. And yes your friend/ guru may have been breeding longer than I . So What. I have alot of long time breeders that are amazingly good friends . I am in no way trying to get the monopoly on Yorkies sorry that is way tooo much responsibility for me to handle. I am way more concerned with people indiscriminately breeding and not doing health testing and making sure that the pups they help bring into this world are as healthy as possible. If that makes you think I am unethical and without morals then so be it. There is no need to go on a bender because people are stating their opinions. I am in no way slandering anyones good name I simply stated my opinion that is all.

You're right Sallie...it IS disturbing. Although from my point of view it's YOUR practices that are the most disturbing. Why won't/don't you health test at the least?

As for why some of us dedicate so much time to YT, it's because we DO care and are tired of reading all the stories from so many people who've spent oodles of money trying to save their ill pets that they bought unknowingly from breeders who don't health test their breeding dogs.

Rant away, I've seen no harrassment or slander in this thread, only compassionate people with questions that you refuse to answer.

Okay all, let's all calm down and take a breath. We do allow comments and questions on these threads for EDUCATION purposes, even though it's a person's For Sale thread. However, the same YT rules apply here as everywhere on the forum - please do not call breeders or others names, this won't be tolerated. Calling someone a 'greeder' is name calling.

If there are questions for this breeder, please ask them respectfully and factually. If there are comments, please be respectful about leaving them.

Please see to it that the name calling, slanderous tags they have posted, I.e., unethical breeder, greeder, etc., ARE REMOVED from my account!! I have a great reputation as a breeder and have HEALTHY pups and NO problems for 20 years!! Thank you for caring.

Okay last post from me. I am not slandering nor harassing you. I am just expressing my opinion. I never said anything slanderous to or about you. In fact I believe I made my comments in the general sense. If you took what I said to heart then thats on you to figure out why something I said in a general sense made you feel attacked. Anyway I do have a life and I don't sit in front of my computer all day harassing and slandering people. My only concern as it has always been is the welfare of the dogs and puppies.
This is why so many good breeders have left because when advice is given or questions are asked the OP gets upset , misconstrues posts and then lashes out. Granted some breeders may come off as harsh but you know not everyone can sugar coat things to anothers perspective. Some just tell it like it needs to be told.
