I got questions from buyer n questions from Debra all within about 30 min. By the time I got both sets n awsered them I sent them to first person n felt like there was no need to send answers to Debra if I was going with the first lady. This is really unreal. |
I have to accept some blame here myself. I should have known that if someone was willing to rehome a 15 month old, 2.2 pound yorkie to someone without knowing anything about them, without asking about their experience with yorkies, especially with tinies, without asking onebackground question or a vet reference or anything (CAN YOU IMAGINE???); that they would be willing to rehome their daughter's birthday present puppy they had had for over a year just so she could "put the money towards a breeder" I should have know with all that and more that I would run into some obstacles. I tried to wear blinders! She told me she paid $2200 but she posted on YT that she paid $650. She would not answer any of my health questions. She said she was registered, but then told me NO, she had never sent in the registration. Good pedigree? Well, no, never saw the pedigree! So many warning signs and still I was trying to plow ahead! If I had read someone else doing that, I would have told them to slow down and look at all the red flags! But a pretty yorkie can make a person go half blind for a minute! Thankfully, I realized I could not go through with it without SOME information that I did not find contradictory. Since that did not surface, I just wish this adorable little puppy the best life possible with whoever she might be going or staying with. It wasn't even that she looked like a show prospect or anything like that -- it was just a look in her eye, something that caught my heartstrings. I just wish her and the person buying her (Kimberly was it?) the very best!!! |

Face it, you strung her along. Even ignoring all the other fishiness in this situation, any way you slice it stringing her along like that was not right. You have TONS of contradictions in your posts (YT won't let me quote them all here, so I will have to paraphrase, people can read the thread for the actual posts themselves): You "didn't know she wanted her", when her mails clearly indicated she did. The biggest contradiction I see is your switch from "first come, first serve" attitude to, "oh, well I picked the best home." However, you repeatedly said the new owner was interested in her FIRST and that is why she got her. That is not properly evaluating homes IMO. You didn't have the information available and had to talk to your vet, but then apparently you had it for the other buyer's questions. The list of contradictions goes on... Then you resorted to an unprofessional attitude and name calling! :thumbdown In my opinion, you handled this entire situation quite poorly. I am sure Izzy will be happy where she is, but that still does not make this behavior or treatment right. |

Debra, I would have asked many questions had I decided on you. We just didnt get that far. The only reason I didnt further answer your questions is I didnt want to string u along any further once I had made my desicion. |

But, it's all irrelevant now..... My only hope is that if you continue your breeding journey you don't continue conducting business as you did. I have one question...I've seen your other thread where you have decorated a room with a changing table, etc.....how could you possibly give up a pet as sweet as this little girl? |

This is getting past hilarious now -- but then I remember a little yorkie who gave a family a year of unconditional love was hung in the balance here. :( Not so funny then. Just so very sad....... |

Well this definately PROVES that i made the RIGHT decision! |

Well Debra, this is proof that I made the right choice... I am not going to set her and let u BULLY me! |
You did not make a decision, that suggests someone actually cared enough to gather information and weigh the facts. You did not do that. You just sold to the first person who would hand you money without requiring you to give information that should have been on the tip of your tongue. I don't know of any other breeder here that could not tell me if their dog was bile acid tested or not. That is not something that a decent breeder is unaware of! Then when caught in a half a dozen inconsistencies (giving the benefit of the doubt here with my wording) you still refuse to take responsibility! You change your colors more often than any chameleon but it is never your fault. You only lied about how much you paid for your yorkie because of all the mean people here that might give you a hard time? Not your fault! You only lied to me so you could pick the best home, no the "first come first serve home," no wait, the one that asked the least questions, no wait, the one who got the money to your hand first..... I don't know......but it sure was not your fault! You were only doing what is best for this adorable little girl who trusted you for the last year and thought she had a home, but is getting tossed aside for one that can make some money! Not your fault! It is your daughter being too uninterested, the puppy being too small, me being too inquisitive, we are all at fault. But not you! No problem -- like I said I will take some blame here -0- I should have known better! Bully you -- really? How SO? At least I know now how a chameleon looks when getting caught in its own web of deceit and greed! |
