Poor puppies! Is there any way you can have them neutered prior to placing them? You can add on the neuter price to them. I hope these shy boys find their forever homes.

Thanks for getting them. I hope you can get them placed. WHoever their previous owner is, I hope someday they wake up in a small cage and get to psend several years there. I will contribute to building a nice secure cage for them.

Agree. Also, whoever kept them in a cage for years needs to spend a long time in one! I will pay to have a secure cage built for them.....and the dogs can all stand outside of it and laugh.

My heart weeps for these two. Please consider surrending them to a reputable rescue; if you can't afford to neuter before placing, you for sure don't want them to end up in a similar place to where they came from!

VERY good questions Megansmomma!! I would very much like to hear this explanation too! I thought the wording was very vague if you had rescued the two boys. If rescued from a mill situation, I can't imagine that you would have used him in your breeding program, such as it is. Who is listed as Robbie and Chandler's owner and for how long? Who is listed as Robbie's original breeder?

These are the type of situations we need to make potential buyers aware of!
Supposedly this "breeder" bought this male for $100 and by her own words he's lived in a kennel all his life and has not been potty trained. She is only trying to recoup her money for him, but she bred him :confused: and will be selling his puppies even though he's not within standards and is CKC. :confuse2: I don't get if you felt sorry for him, why didn't you neuter him ASAP and find him a pet home, instead of breeding him first??
Moral of the story: BUY your breeder FIRST!

She's obviously the breeder and she is most definitely just trying to get rid of Chandler and Robbie as they are no longer useful because they are getting old. That's probably what the situation is... How sad!!! :mad: Poor dogs, spent their lives in a cage...YES, I pray what goes around comes around!! Karma always bites REAL HARD!

And, my question is how you could allow two beautiful babies like these to look so horrible. Even IF you are overwhelmed, you took them in and they need to be groomed! I am just horrified at their appearance...look like typical mill pups. :( I got sick when I saw those pictures. That red drape you put up may be hiding something but it is not hiding the fact that those pups have not been cared for. :( Just heartbreaking.

Yes, you should do as suggested by Gemy and others...surrender these two pups to a rescue that will care for their needs!

She is new here and obviously did not bother to read one post on this site or she would have known YT is thorough when it comes to the welfare of these precious babies.

While that may be, I have a feeling she does not really care. :( Someone will buy those poor pups just because they are cheap. She knows that.

she is NOT new here. She's had a few other accounts for selling yorkies on YT. these dogs are probably her own and she is making up a story to sell them. She says she bought these two because she felt bad for them living in a cage all their lives, but she obviously didn't feel bad even if she decided to let one of them breed with her females to get more puppies out of him before he was sold. I guess that's how he pays for his "rental" kennel at her place.

She also has a female ready to go into heat for sale :mad: :thumbdown :mad:

I am really naive. Here I was congratulating and thanking her for "taking in" these 2 little males. Sad. I am glad some of you can recognize this type of game/scam. Another puppy mill.

Wow there sure have been some very iffy people advertising yorkies for sale on this forum. Buyer beware.

I am glad someone was on the ball and spotted the problems this time. One thing I have noticed in the past -- too much gets by us. Looking through some of the for sale ads, we are too accepting! I am going to try to get better at this myself. We are so used to saying "how cute," "beautiful" etc. for each other's yorkies, some wind up doing it when very OUT-OF-STANDARD yorkies are listed for sale by breeders. There is nothing cute or beautiful about a breeder not taking care of their dogs, keeping them in a cage their whole life, not grooming them, breeding obvious poor representatives of the breed, some that she admits to being unsure of parentage details! So many listed with very little known about the parents -- now how can you breed a dog when you know next to nothing about their history?

If we continue to ask a lot of questions in the Yorkies For Sale ads, maybe we can save some newbies that see little more than a cute dog and a low price. I was there myself once. My first yorkie was a bargin baby from the newspaper -- a second hand dog from a bad byb! She had health problems that helped contribute to an early death while at the groomer's. Asking the right questions so others can see the answers or the lack of answers might save another from making heartbreaking mistakes like that.

Admin I think you should take this post off. If this person has two different accounts and or more. She has been tracked back to her website that tells a different story about these "two supposed rescues".

And OP I reiterate my advice to you surrender these dogs to a reputable rescue, that will do for them what you obviously haven't. Care, love, vet and find a good home for these two.
