3 yr old Yorkie Did I see that the girl was bred from an 11 pound mother??? Isn't 11 pounds too large for the breeding standard??? Good Luck finding the little one a comfortable loving home. |

Don't you understand.....You.....AND....many others, (whether or not anyone thinks they are a "good" breeder) are a part of the pet over population problem. There is NO good reason to continue to have this sweet girl be a breeder dog.....please do the right thing. |
All 3 of mine are some form of a rescue. I really don't understand why some people think we are antibreeding nothing could be further from the truth. IMO it would be hard to sell a 3 yr old female that is from a kennel for this amount of money. I hope that she finds a wonderful home. :( |
I really think admin should remove all posts that have no interest in this girl. I'm sure the OP is quite capatable of placing her girl in a fit home be it pet or with another breeder. Good luck with placing your girl. |

I agree with most of the posters on here. This young girl should be spayed prior to be placed. This is what any reputable breeder would do. No reputable breeder would even consider putting a breeding female with someone they didn't know on a personal level. As a breeder/exhibitor, I don't understand why this girl hasn't been house trained. I would think at the very least she'd have been piddle pad trained. As far as not policing the world. Well she's your responsibility and policing should start with yourself. |
Quote from the op: My interest is in finding Disney a good home. If she was to go to a good home and she was used for breeding by a responsible lovng person, IM ok with that. See Post no 6 This op stated the above. My concern is if she is going out of breeding how will she mentor and or support a potential breeder who buys her dog? $400 is awfully low for a fully registered AKC breeding female. I believe that if you want to get out of breeding then do so completely. Neuter your un-neutered dogs/bitches, and place them in loving homes. This way you are assured that at the very least your dogs/bitches won't be used indiscriminately for breeding. That's it ... I wish you and your dogs the best |
I'm not commenting on anything but the welfare of this girl - she's done her 'work' and maybe you could spay her and find a nice home where she can be part of a family and have a nice doggie life ? There's people that would love a 3 year old !! I mean a non breeder who would just like a companion... why not give her a fresh start ? I bet she can be socialized and make someone a wonderful pet and you'd know you did something that's in her best interest. I wish her all the best too - She's probably just waiting for a place where she can fit in and be 'just a dog' - spoiled silly like most of ours are :) |

What does the pedigree look like? I wouldn't buy her for breeding if I expected puppies. Small liters. She just whelped a singleton. That would have been a planned c-section for me. This is probably why she's being sold. Some people spay w/ a c-section. If she isn't from a quality line then it will surely cost less to buy another bitch then to risk another c-section or worst for breeders that do it for money, lack of puppies. |
This is suppose to be a for sale or wanted thread not a picket line. WIth all respect, Im not asking for your opinion. SO please share it where it is asked for, thank you I appreciate it. DIsney isnt some wild eyed kennel dog who hasnt had care, not been played with, not been in the grass. PLEASE. SHe knows how to use papers and if you stay on it she is crate trained. Its very rude what you all have been allowed to do to this thread. ITs not a for sale thread, its a bash feast or MY OPINION IS and it shouldnt be allowed. Several of you have made an emotional situation, more stressful. I wont use this forum again not for sharing pet pics, not for rehoming, there are many nice people on here , but some of you ruin it. |
Ok, step away from the Computer and take a deep breath. No one is picking on you. Just trying to share a concern over the placement with out spaying. But again, it is your dog, and you can do what you want. I hope it does not go to the first person with $400 and a promise. |
LOL........you just cant help it can you? HOw about you step away from this thread as I kindly asked. ??? ABSOLUTELY NO RESPECT. |

I just don't understand anyone getting rid of dogs, like yesterday's garbage. |

I hope this is exactly what happens with this girl....she's earned it and deserves it....I've heard some breeders place their girls for practically nothing ....even 'give' them to someone where they know they'll be a pet only. That may be rare but I know IF I were a breeder - that's what I'd do. NOTE - this is a GENERAL statement and not meant to offend anyone - including the OP |
I just have to plead with you to do the moral & compassionate thing and spay this little girl and find her the best forever home where she can get the love and attention she deserves! Please do not let her continue to be a breeding dog! You have to know selling her for $400 with breeding rights, she could end up in a horrible situation. Please do what is best for her! |

No it's not rare, reputable breeders place their retired females (even Championed ones) for the nominal fee of spay and teeth cleaning. And a lot of times for no fee. Eldery people just want a dog to love and take care of, but don't want the work required with a pup. |

It's usually the cost of the spay and a dental. It can vary if she had a sec, didn't need a dental etc. But you are correct. Tonia Holibaugh (breed handler), has the info on her website. I've known of plenty to go to "home" without a fee. Not to say a fee is never given. It's just all about finding the right home. It's a hard decision to find that perfect home. It's all about the dogs best interest for some people. You don't have to guess what kind of coat you are going to get. |

Ding ding ding, got ya, clear as a bell, point taken. I think you girls just love this lil banter we got going. YOu need to quit making assumptions as who I am, and what will happen with DIsney. YOu all are in complete attack mode with opinion city. HOw do u even know she wont get spayed?? Its really better to plant a seed and let it grow then, throw it in a hole, beat the hell out of it with a shovel, stomp, and KICK IT. Gess. |
