I asked for pictures and haven't gotten any yet. She said she is really busy so it may take a while.

they are being rehomed because i just had a baby and i dont have time to take care of them the way i would like to and i am having a hard time giving them the attention they need because im so busy i have 8 dogs and i just want to get out of the business and start consentrating on my son and husband and my pet snickers. they are not fixed and they are not house trained the female is very sweet and wants lots of attention the male is kind of shy and a little distant he just does whatever the female does lol. but if you would like some pics of them i can email them to you just send me your email it may take me a little while because im very busy. thanks so much for your patients and God bless

Is that 1500 each or both? Have they been living in the home with your family? Have they had litters? How many?

she does not live in the house she did until we moved then she stayed in the barn but she live in my garage now because i just ahd a baby and i dont want her in the house with my new baby. she is very sweet and loving. she has not had puppies she has been in heat one time but i chose not to breed her the first time

i have 2 young kids and 3 yorkies in the house, they wont harm the baby...thats cruel to put a yorkie in a garage or barn..they arent that kind of dog, they are total social butterflies and need to be in the household. i even have one that hates the kids because she was here first and everything works out and no ones has ever been harmed

Are you rehoming the other 6 as well? I wish I could help you.. have you thought about surrendering them to a rescue? They would get the one on one attention that they deserve and need... just a thought.

Are the parents to the Maltese puppies you listed for sale end of June also living in the barn? Must be hard with the white coats. Pretty small mother on your ad I found as well I see.

Yea I asked her about maybe lowering the price or just giving them up and I could at LEAST take one of them if they are needing a home that bad. I deal with a lot of rescues- I just cannot afford $1500 to put into a dog that has been kept in a barn and needs a whole lot of training and (most likely) several health issues addressed. They are not even on heartworm preventative, so it is very possible they could all have heartworms and she would not even know it. Those poor dogs are probably scared out of their minds :( I would be willing to help her rehabilitate them and give them the proper care and love that they deserve.

I was thinking she meant $1500 for both of them not each -- did I guess wrong? Did she ever send you pics? I am interested in getting a female but not being socialized or trained these might be a challenge. I am not against a challenge, but not sure if I would pay top dollar for it.

Maybe I shouldn't say anything but I think it is a shame that you don't want her around your baby and have her living in a garage. Is she mean towards the baby that you have her locked up away from people in the garage?

We all love our animals and I don't know too many owners that keep their Yorkies away from their kids. I was always told not to let my cat around my kids when they were babies but they were so loving towards them so that is hogwash.

This is all I have to say because I am protective of animals that I don't believe of locking them in a garage where there are so many chemicals and bad things that they can get into and maybe kill them.

If anyone knows where she is located, she should be reported to the local animal cpontrol asap! Maybe they could "help" her to rehome them. With that $1500.00 price, she's thinking there is one born every minute......but she doesn't know us. "Not around here":(

Please reconsider the price you are asking....because it sounds like you obviously want to get rid of them pretty badly that you have kicked them out of the house and are keeping them in a barn and/or garage and the fact that they are almost 1 year old and have had little to no training. $1500 is a little much.

There are a lot of people here that have a sincere love, appreciation & respect for the breed & animals in general and put a lot of time into training & caring for them. Please lower the price so that they can find a home quickly where they can be loved & cared for the way they should.

The more you keep them sheltered away and not given daily socialization & attention (frequently), the worse they are going to be & the harder it's going to be for you to place them & find a home for them. Or reach out to a Yorkie rescue for help.

Please understand, I'm not here to bash, just thinking about those poor babies and how they must feel being shunned away...they have feelings too! I am a single mother, have 5 yorkie girls running around spoiled as ever(all have free roam of the house as long as we're home & 2 skin boys, 1 cat & 11 fish and have never had a problem spoiling any of them! :D I know it's hard but it can be done! Noone feels slighted in my home!

No, these dog have been living out there since they moved there.

IMO the $1500 is coming from the greed of a BYB - you see "these dogs" are "simply breeding machines" and there seems to be hope that another greedy BYB will jump on this opportunity :( :( :(

She never said if the price was for one or for both. After hearing about the conditions they were living in, I didn't even ask. Someone would be crazy to pay that kind of money for dogs that have been living in barns and garages and have all kinds of emotional problems from being left alone like that. Yorkies are not that kind of dog. Mine all think they are human, and I sure would not leave a human in a garage or barn! These dogs need rescuing. I will even go so far as to say I will take in all 8 of them and rescue them if she will give them up. I know that there are sooo many people out there that can give them the homes that they deserve.

It sounds like you are very overwhelmed with the dogs...you said you have 8? Are you rehoming all 8 ,or just these two? If you are really that overwhelmed and the issue is not with making money, there are a lot of great people on yorkietalk that would be willing to take these babies in and give them a great home. This is just a suggestion and I hope you make the right decision, because it sounds like these babies are not getting the attention that they deserve and that is going to affect them in the long run. The people on this website all have a special love for yorkies and that is why most of us are here. I am willing to do whatever to help with these babies to get them in the best homes. Just let me know if you need my help.

if you keep your house clean and your dogs clean there shouldnt be a problem...

Why not just give them all away and focus on your child then? NOBODY in their right mind will pay you 1500 for one not even two dogs. Especially if they have not bee socialized OR TRAINED! I bet they are like wild animals!

My children all grew up playing on the floor with our dog. My home was
spotless and so were the kids and dog. If you are a clean person
there's nothing nasty about it.
A dog would not hate the kids if they were raised in the home with them.
Yorkies are loving dogs and very protective IF raised properly like any
other breed.
Along comes a child and out goes the dog:mad: Read it way too often.

Your dogs deserve a home just like your giving your child.
Lower you price and get them good homes, please.
Have a concience for heaven's sake.
Do what's right for your dogs. They have feeling too and just

Obviously the love that we have for our dogs at YT is a little beyond you. Our dogs are part of our family and not something to just be thrown away at the first imposition. Please turn the dogs over to rescue so they have a chance at a great home.

I have 3 kids 3 dogs, 2 geckos and one cat . I live in a townhouse . Our home is clean and our dogs are all healthy and happy. Why would you assume that she is nasty because she lets the dogs interact with her children. Why did you get a dog if you did not want them around your kids? Maybe you should have gotten a fish or something. I don’t know if it is just me or something but it seems that lately strange people have been coming out of the wood work. :confused:
