She was not in a bad situtation however she was about to be released into hands that may have turned into a bad situtation so I did buy her to keep her from going into what I thought might could lead her into a bad situtation and possibly her into a breeding only home..i have only had her a short while but I have found her to be a wonderful dog so far.. |
I am selling her because I do not need two babies. I am just now to the point that I take little lexi to work with me I dont need another baby. We are completely happy with it just being me and lexi..Hope it doesnt sound ugly lots of people have more than 1 fur baby but I only care to have the one.. |
It was wonderful that you did this for her. Since you went the extra mile to get her out of a possible bad situation, is it possible for you have her spayed first and then just tack on the money spent on spaying as well? This will prevent her from being bred and ensure a great home. Elaine |
Yes that would be a possibility.. I just knew that if just anyone got this beautiful little girl she might not get as good a life as she deserves.. I will probally check into spaying her if she does not find a home soon..She is a delight.. |

I hate to be the one to say this but someone said to get her spayed and tack on that to the fee. That want work. You will be doing good to get the $650, I have a maltese that is 4 years old, is the prettiest thing you have ever seen, I did have her spayed and I can seem to get her placed for $500 and she is tiny. I have alot more than that in all the vet bills and what I paid for her. I was just trying to get some back out of her. So for everyone want to get one for about $100 or so. So please do not think that if you spay her, that you will be able to get $700- $800 for her. If someone was to pay that they would get a puppy. (or if she was a show dog you could get that) I think you will find it hard to get $500 for her now. You may make them sign a contact to have her spayed and when they spay her then you will mail her the papers to them. This is just a thought that want cost you any more money. Good luck!! She is beautiful! aww how nice of you to do what you did. I have to agree with the PP that it will be pretty hard for you to get that asking price for a 3 year old dog. I paid 500 for a 1.5 year old dog and I now think back and say that is pretty expensive too! |

I agree I agree with the ones who are talking about the fee..I am negioatable on the fee..I had to start somehwere and knowing how most people are and want to always offer lower I figured that if someone offered a reasonable amount I can always go down..I wont however go lower than what I paid for her because I know shes worth that..So if anyones wanting her and wants to make an offer I am open to offers...I havent decided on the spaying yet,, Thats up in the air right now.. |

I would worry if you did not spay her before rehoming her. Many times holding back papers with a spay agreement does nothing to insure they actually follow through. They just don't bother to register the litter or use one of the registries that register any dog. |

Gigi has found a home Gigi has found a home here locally so I will be able to see her and she will also now be one of my grooming clients so she has been placed in a great home..She went to a lady who already has another female yorkie..I told her about yorkietalk so maybe we will be hearing from her on here too.. |

Thanks....Yes, the other person offered 400.00. I am upset because she knew that I wanted Gigi and she was still looking to sell her to someone else...I would never do that to someone else...I guess that it takes all kinds to make the world go around. my side I did agree to take 300.00 and the money was not an issue or else I would not have agreed. We were pming on Yt. I got that response that you might could do 300.00 that was great then I pmed you that I was getting off to go do some things waited 30 minutes or so never heard a reply so I went to the dog park(( accidently)) meet someone there who wanted Gigi and was willing to pay 400.00 in my mind she was still mine and still for rehoming since I had not heard back from you ,,,so I did what anyone else would do I sold her locally and now can see her when I want to ..I am sorry if you did not answer back to me but I wasnt sure by your pms what you intended to do..You never pmed me while I was online waiting to hear from you...I also sent you my phone number to call me,,,which you didnt do untill much later after I had left the house so probally by the time you called she was already gone I dont know I didnt get your message till I got home...Hope you find cookie a friend but you should have confirmed you did want her and she would still be here... |
I refuse to get into a knock down drag out over this..You private messaged me at 10:13 and I emailed my husband to see when we could come get Gigi(He was not at his desk when I called). He replied back to me at 10:50 and I called you and there was no answer so I left a message, I also sent you a private message at 10:55. I waited online for about 25-30 minutes never heard back from you so I left my house and god sent that lady Gigis way..I will not be part of your Drama..I have no reason to defend myself so I not going to say this anymore except you should have called me..I told you I was getting offline and thats what I did..As soon as I said that I waited a few more minutes then I did what I said I was going to do I got up and got started with other things..Thats my last reply to this post..I do hope though that you find a baby friend for your cookie..Have a great day... |
it sounds to me that you did not have a firm, agreement with the girl that wanted to pay 300. She said she "might" could do that. you have done nothing wrong and you were under no obligation to sell her for 300 under a "might". i hope you get to see lexi often. |
