Just to give you another perspective, each time we have added a dog to the household it has taken a good month or more for the others to accept the new addition. I had an older dachshund that I was thinking had little time left, so we bought a Yorkie. Instead of having some companionship she wanted nothing to do with the Yorkie. But after about a month, she started to tolerate her coming near her. Another month and they were buddies. Same thing happened each time we added a puppy. We are convinced getting the other dogs has given our 16 year old dachshund added years she would not have had otherwise. But she was a slow one to warm up to any of them! |

A day after having her I almost called to have someone else foster and eventually adopt her, because I thought for sure Newman would kill her. It was all talk on his part - just letting her know he was boss. Bella is 5 yrs old now and we lost our Newman two years this August to cancer but for the time they had together they were the best of friends and having her brought back the puppy in him. It took about a good month and I'm so thankful that we didn't panick and place her. Time may be something you may want to give - atleast a month. It's a big adjustment but my suspision is that they will become good friends. Elaine |
Thanks for the positive stories. it's a bit more than the guys not getting along, but that is the major part. My older Yorkie is just not open to him and it's been 2 months. Their time together is excruciating and stressful for all of us. The baby seeks him out and it upsets Pedro. He gives me 'the eye' so much now. |

Yes he is. He is still available. Purchased outside of the Dallas area. I have his pedigree lineage and can probably find you the link to his folks. He has one champion in his blood line. Lineage goes back 4 generations. He's AKC registered and has the pointy ears/stocky legs. Very rich coloring. Playful and loving. He is the typical Yorkie, as in he wants to be close to you, unless he's gnawing a chew toy. That requires his full attention. :-) He loves strangers, kids, and other animals. |

He's Still Available He is getting his distemper shot tomorrow and will be fully immunized for his age. |
Final Mark-down Now he's 500.00 Crate is 25.00 Time is of the essence as there's a lot going on with me medically. If he doesn't sell in the next few days, he's going to have to go to a Yorkie rescue. Serious inquiries ONLY. We can ship and that needs to be paid in full with his purchase and we charge 50.00 and flight cost. Without getting into our personal details, he is a wonderful and gorgeous puppy. Breed standard all they way, but we have to do this, though it breaks my heart. |
Can I ask you how much he weighs and what his parents weigh? |
He's a bit over 3.6 lbs. I do not know his folks weight, but you can see them at the breeder's site. They're names are Sopie and Max. |
I just want to say, he's adorable. One other thing, by any chance, have you contacted the breeder you bought him from? I haven't started breeding yet, but, I know a lot of breeders, and when someone buys one of their pups, if you can't keep them for any reason, the breeders will buy them back. If you haven't contacted her yet, please do so first, as she may buy him back from you and try and place him herself |
