| I paid thousand for my 2yr. old male......hard to find one cheaper...I figure you get what you pay for, if you do your homework. I've had him for a 1 1/2 and except for checkups and shots, he's perfectly healthly. I have a great breeder.....sometime she has females that's she retires from her breeding program or a teenage yorkie.....usually males...you may get an older one for a little less than a thousand. Good luck. |

| sorry.. but really there isn't! you can always check shelters or local yorkie & small breed rescues. but for an akc reg. puppy from a reputable breeder in s. california you are most likely going to pay at least $1000- (but if you are going through a rep. breeder, who you trust.. then at least you can rest easy knowing that you are getting a healthy puppy who won't cost you thousands of dollars in medical bills down the road, from problems having to do with the breeding)

| If they cost so much there, maybe you could drive to pick one up in either AZ or Oregon? Even with gas you may save some money. |

| Hi, I have a male yorkie who will be 2 years old in January. He might be 4 lbs and is an adorable little apple head. However, we lost our house and are leasing so we cannot have a pet. I paid $2000 but I would be willing to let him go to a loving person for $1000. I am not going to advertise because I will be bombarded with phone calls. I would rather him be with someone who has been looking. I am in San Clemente. Call me if you want to see him. Donna 949-388-2723 or 949-412-7611. |
