Hi Jenny. Gus sounds wonderful. Will you have him neutered before going to his new home? Also, not trying to be fresh in anyway but you may want to consider lowering his adoption fee and just really screening his prospective new home. $1500 for a Yorkie Poo is going to make it very hard to find him a home. I don't even think that right now the Yorkies are selling for that price. Again, not trying to be fresh just trying to give you input from an outside view. I hope he finds a wonderful home. Elaine |

gus gus is a happy, fun, sweetheart puppy.. he will be neutered in the next month... and available in august 2008... he weighs in at 4 lbs.. he has a cottony undercoat.. the top is silky and wirey with a fullness.. he is one fourth poodle and 3/4 yorky. mama is lucy... dad is akc yorkie born 11/23/08.. i was planning to find him a home with his brothers and sisters.. but fell in love... he has been mine... however, i only need to keep one male in the house.. and gus is a special dog.. definitely pick of the litter of yorkipoos.. second generation yorkipoo.. his brother was identical.. he is now peanut and lives with the perfect fam.. his sister is izzy, looks like a mimi black lab.....and she lives with my mom.. so gus needs a doggy family since he has always had one.. healthy physically and otherwise.. trains easily..:) |

gus update :aimeeyorkgus gus fits right in with our family.. i know he has a special gift.. he is the most loveable puppy ever.. brave and daring.. noisy too.. he has a yorkipoo bark. and he can also do soprano barks.. him and sampson play tug of war ALL the time.. he is fast runner and a great jumper. 5 lbs of love with fur he loves to talk about himself and how wonderful he is.. he just holds his head up high and sticks out his tongue whi;le i praise him to the heavens.. unfortunately he does follow very well. he is covert and quick while slipping into the bathroom each time i enter but he knows it all ends in kisses.. gus is very special.. it will be hard to sell him, but if the right family or person comes along...we will consider it.. times are tough and people dont have money for dogs anymore looks like all my photos are gone from yt i used to have an album i can email photos i guess... jenny so i might have to keep him forever he may also be gifted to a dear friend who is a beautician.. we shall see..:) |

jmo purebred yorkies are certainly more valuable and very easy to sell but no one can afford puppies now. i am willing to lower my price considerably all offers are welcome the prices of utilities have forced me to say we will not be using our furnace this winter i will consider gifting gus because i want what is in his best interest gus is the gift of love and i am a generous person sending him off with a new puppy would be great:) purebred yorkies are the best:) so i guess when you mix them they are not as valuable but i consider the value in the health of the dog so all mine are worth a minimum of 1200 ..even the mixes true value is 2000..for mixed and purebreed the same:animal-pa |

You're right, the economy is bad, and many people might have to put off buying dogs, but if you need to include Gus as a two for one incentive in order to get people to buy him, perhaps you need to put off breeding until the economy improves. It sounds like you are selling Gus because you can't afford to heat the house. Good luck with placing Gus, but I hope you rethink your position on mixing the breeds because often they are the hardest to place, no matter how precious they are. |
