gus update
 
:aimeeyorkgus gus fits right in with our family.. i know he has a special gift.. he is the most loveable puppy ever.. brave and daring.. noisy too.. he has a yorkipoo bark. and he can also do soprano barks..
him and sampson play tug of war ALL the time..
he is fast runner and a great jumper.
5 lbs of love with fur
he loves to talk about himself and how wonderful he is.. he just holds his head up high and sticks out his tongue whi;le i praise him to the heavens..
unfortunately he does follow very well. he is covert and quick while slipping into the bathroom each time i enter
but he knows it all ends in kisses..
gus is very special..

it will be hard to sell him, but if the right family
or person comes along...we will consider it..
times are tough and people dont have money for dogs anymore

looks like all my photos are gone from yt
i used to have an album
i can email photos i guess... jenny
so i might have to keep him forever
he may also be gifted to a dear friend who is a beautician..
we shall see..:)

Lets face reality here he is a mixed breed dog. As wonderful as he may be (and really cute) you most likely are not going to get that much for a mixed breed dog with this economy

hoping to have christmas puppies available
i would love to place gus with a new puppy
if we have them
possibly:animal36
the pair will be available for 1500 in dec
gus and one female morkipoo 2nd gen
i just want gus in the right place
he is the perfect dog.. i think..
but i can only have one male in this house

purebred yorkies are certainly more valuable and very easy to sell
but no one can afford puppies now.
i am willing to lower my price considerably
all offers are welcome
the prices of utilities have forced me to say
we will not be using our furnace this winter
i will consider gifting gus because i want what is in his best interest
gus is the gift of love and i am a generous person
sending him off with a new puppy would be great:)
purebred yorkies are the best:)
so i guess when you mix them
they are not as valuable
but i consider the value in the health of the dog
so all mine are worth a minimum of 1200 ..even the mixes
true value is 2000..for mixed and purebreed the same:animal-pa

So what are you saying? You are considering placing him free with the right home or you will give him free to someone that buys one of your pups? confused. :confused: Elaine

IF i still have gus in september
and IF i have puppies
i will try to place them as a pair.
dogs are pack animals
first time owners should always get a pair of puppies
this pair would be 10 months apart:aimeeyork

You're right, the economy is bad, and many people might have to put off buying dogs, but if you need to include Gus as a two for one incentive in order to get people to buy him, perhaps you need to put off breeding until the economy improves. It sounds like you are selling Gus because you can't afford to heat the house. Good luck with placing Gus, but I hope you rethink your position on mixing the breeds because often they are the hardest to place, no matter how precious they are.

Someone did question her about the price; she too decided to keep the dog. I only responded in this particular case because I think Cesar is right about the economy, and I've have noticed some breeders coming down in their prices, and some mixed breeds not selling at all. It's just something to consider.

Well, what if a good family already has another small breed dog, would you consider gifting him then or would they have to get a puppy from you and have them go as a pair? Gus would still have a playmate right? This is what I was trying to get a clear answer on. Whether you were going to "gift" him to a good famly (or) only a good family that also bought one of your puppies? Elaine
