Small Yorkie I believe the health problems arise after the sale, because the people don't give the extra care that a tiny baby needs. This is because those terms weren't used and the buyer wasn't advised on the extra care and food that the little baby was going to need. You guys don't even think of this, when it comes to that term. Oh there is no such thing? Well then the baby doesn't get the special food and care. Of course it's health is endangered!!!!! |

Just a little info..some of the words tossed around on this forum set some folks off..like byb (back yard breeder) teacup, dollface, babyface, broker, puppymill, petstore, etc..Any question you have is legitamate and most anwers you get are pretty accurate. A lot are based on personal opinion and experience. Ignore the sarcastic and the ones who sit high on their pedistals and shame you for your choices. Everyone here learns something from someone else..that is what keeps us coming back. If we were all experts we wouldn't have anyone to talk to..jmo,, good luck in your search..now watch me get chewed out..haha..jk. |

Just so you know, there is nothing wrong with a 15 lb Yorkie!! I have a 13 lber and he is a doll!! He just can't be carried in a carrier!! |
Welcome to YT Kelly! It's okay I was once guilty of using the term "teacup" too. I was ripped off by someone who supposedly sold me a "teacup" morkie a couple of years ago. But he grew to be 12 lbs!!!! But I wouldn't want it any other way! Archie can run, jump and play without ever getting tired. He can keep up with us and he is super healthy! We are super lucky to have him in our life! GL finding your baby! Oh and just my POV - I think 5lbs is great for cuddling and can still fit in your bag. I think Debbie from amazing yorkies have some males available for the price your looking for. |
Toy Yorkie 1 Attachment(s) :aimeeyork Just sold a boy that will be 6-8 lbs for $500. He was AKC. Just a little Doll! How do I know. Well Both parents were under 5 lbs. He couldn't get much bigger than 6-8 lbs. :aimeeyork:aimeeyork Lexie/Littlebit:) |
have you considered an older dog? I have a 2 year old female yorkie just under 5 lbs unless her hair is floor length she's 5 lbs. She has thick hair she's gorgeous. if you are the right person I only want $500 for her. |

Money shouldn't be the number one reason to buy a dog. They are a new addition to your family. The decision shouldn't be based on which one was the cheapest! Gesh, would you buy a kid that way? Your new doggie will be there for nearly as long as a child would. |

I dont believe this. I have to be careful on what I spend my money on. I dont have a whole lot. And if I bought one I probably would be looking in the 600-800 range and that doesnt mean I cant buy toys or vet bills. My dogs are very spoiled it simply means I shop carefully and buy my toys for 2 or 3 dollars and my cloths for under $7 for the most part. So no offense but I find that a little insulting to people who dont have a $1000 dollars or more to spend on a "dog" as you called it. |
