1 Attachment(s) I find this very interesting. I always thought Destiny was tan and Tigger was gold. So then I have it backwards? Destiny is considered gold and Tigger is tan? Here is a picture of the two. Destiny is the one on the left. As for registering them, I think you can change the color for on the application for a fee. I could be mistaken but I asked this very same question a long time ago before I had registered Scampers and this is what I was told. |
1 Attachment(s) I too had them confused! I always thought Uma was a rich gold! |

I don't register puppies...I wait until they're older and coat starts to break...but that's just what I do. |

In my opinion only now, the yorkie on the left I would consider gold and the one on the right tan, again, this is my opinion only. However, when I use the terms I always use the word gold unless it's just so obivious that the color on the head is what I would call a irish setter red. But to be correct in this matter what I stated above is my opinion what the differences in gold and tan would be. I hope that makes sense. Donna Bird Brooklynn's Yorkshire Terriers |
If you read the standard, the word tan is used to describe the color on the head and legs. It uses the word golden as a descriptor for the tan color on the headfall. |
