Oh how funny, there I am in that first picture sitting down (with huge preggy belly..lol) Beaux's father and Sister are right behind us, the lady in the green shirt is holding Beaux's daddy (she's also Beaux's co-owner) and little sis is on the table. lwolfe - yes in post #16 that is my Tsa-La-Gi baby. She is a doll and what a beauty with personality too! She is really something special. It was so funny how Shirley found me by finding my baby (Gigi) with my hubby. Shirley walked right up to him and asked if she was for sale. LOL Becki - I hope you don't mind the photo. I wasn't even looking in the background. I just saw Vicki and the other and it looked like a nice picture to share. I was there both Saturday and Sunday and couldn't believe you drove all that way for one show. Your Southern Gentleman was beautiful - nice color and silk and a very beautiful face. You'll do great too. See ya soon! See everyone - you can make friends at shows and have a good time too. Great Show pics that you show here! I know what it means to be in a class where the other dogs are all older, have the same problem at the moment with my girl, she´s 25 months old and I have to enter her in Open Class. Mostly all others entered are 3 or 4 years old and their hair goes down to the floor all around. The hair of my little girl Any also goes down to the floor at the body but not in front and on the head. But I also think her time in the ring will come, if not this year than next year after puppies. |
I would love to know how you keep the coat during whelping and rearing a litter. I have noticed girls I have left in coat tend to thin out considerably during the pregnancy/nursing process, and have since given up and just take the coat off prior to whelping. Your "secrets" for keeping up a show coat through pups would be much appreciated.. even if I'm not showing a girl, I still like to keep them in coat if I can. Quote:

No, lol..I don't mind the pic. :) I actually was meeting a friend to pick up a new bitch, and visiting with Rainy's breeder, so it was a multi-tasked trip for me. I wish I had been able to come all 3 days, but had out of town company visiting. Unfortunately I didn't get to get my new bitch, my friend has a girl due to whelp and couldn't leave..so a few more weeks waiting. We had a nice visit with Rainy's breeder though, she is also Beaux's co-owner and sire owner to both...was worth the trip just to visit. Becki Quote:
