It's that time of year for Bluebonnet's Yorkie Specialty! It wil be held on 9/14 and the Dallas Toy Shows on 9/15-9/-16!! Lots of great people and yorkies will be there! You can find information and the premium list on Jack Onofrio Dog Shows, LLC! Please come and support these beautiful yorkies! Local exhibitors in the Dallas area will be showing!!

Wishing all that are going to this show the best of luck, I know a few heading to TX for it. Wish I could take my boys but just too far this time of yr.

I can't either. Every thing on that link was for future dates and no search capability. I did not see the Bluebonet shows at all. I am thinking I would love to go if it is Dallas or nearby if I can locate where and when.

Have been to the Bluebonnet Yorkshire Terrier and Mesquite Convention Center websites and see no particulars about times and where to go, anything. Does anyone have a link to share with details about the shows?

I would like to wish everyone showing the best of luck this weekend. There will be so many beautiful yorkies there this weekend. I wish I could go. I hope someone will take pictures to share.

Just can't find a playbill or advert that gives any specifics on where Exhibit Hall A is, ticket prices, if our dogs welcome, exit to take off freeway, where to park close or phone number of Convention Center or anything especially helpful to someone unfamiliar.

The Convention Center is on Hwy 635 in Mesquite, TX. You'll want to take the Military Pky/ Scyene Rd exit. It is a large building located on the frontage road on the west side of 635 and just south of the light at Military Pky/Scyene Rd. I believe the Hampton Hotel is right on the frontage road and the Convention Center sits right behind that. Parking is right the building and shouldn't be a problem and I think parking is free. The building is not so large as to cause you trouble finding the dog show. I don't remember what the ticket price was, sorry. I don't think outside dogs are not allowed.

My only question, after looking at the link bjh provided is, when do the Yorkies show on Fri. It doesn't specifically say what dogs are showing on Fri and at what time.

Thank you for the info. So there will be more breeds than just Yorkies at the Bluebonnet Yorkshire Terrier Club Specialty? I'd like to know the times for Yorkies too, then.

On Friday it will be yorkies only for the Bluebonnet Specialty. On Saturday and Sunday when the Toy Club has their shows all the breeds that are in the Toy Group will be showing. You can click on the link provided earlier and scroll down the page and you will see the show times.
Page 3 shows the time of the yorkies on Friday. The sweeps starts at 1 p.m. and the regular judging starts at 1:30.

I don't know if there will be a admission fee. Most small shows do not charge one. I would recommend buying a catalog before the show starts. It makes it so much easier to follow the show and to see who is in the ring.
It is not normally recommended to take unentered dogs but some people do. Just remember that it will probably take a couple of hours just for the yorkie judging and it is more relaxing if you are not having to hold a dog.

Educate yourself and buy from reputable breeders or rescue.
