Cobo hall is next weekend
 
Just wanted to let anyone who is in the area know that the Detroit Kennel Club benched dog show is next weekend at Cobo hall. Saturday there are 33 Yorkies entered and Sunday 20 Yorkies entered. If your looking for a day or two of fun come on down and check it out. This will be my first time showing more than one Yorkie and I am really looking forward to it. The last 2 shows I entered I had more than one to show but not both in the same show. Roxie , Abbie and Pia will be debutting in their first ever shows so it should be fun. I have trained all 3 so it's a big deal for me. Pia and Roxie belong to Cindy Mattoni a good friend of mine. Oh and if your planning on attending they have discount tickets at Kroger since that is the sponsor this year. If you make it please stop by the Yorkie benching area. Also Saturday the yorkies will be in ring 11 @ 12:45 and sunday ring 4 @ 11:15

I will be going, not sure which day. I have talked to Cindy mattoni, and Lucy Anderson. Both very nice and knowledgeable ladies. Glad to hear there will be more yorkies.

I definitely will. I've gone the last few years. I think I know who you are there now from yorkietalk lol :)

Last year and the year before I showed boys. This year will be my first year there with girls. I will be wearing a grey skirt suit on Saturday and a royal blue top and grey skirt on sunday .

Yeah I am so glad your able to make it. It will be nice seeing other YT'ers to. Now the craziness begins for me. Lot's to do before Saturday.

Darn, It would be nice to meet you. But I will get pics and I am pretty sure there will be others there with cameras taking pics also.

Okay so I am a dog show nut. I am so excited that I am pretty sure I won't be able to sleep. 6am will be here before I know it then Abbie, Roxie and myself will be waiting for Pam to get here and pick us up. And I also get to pick Kirsten's brain this weekend since she is set up next to us. Yay.

We'll be there early for good parking unelss this wind blows us away first!
Hoping that they have PBGVs this year.
Wondering why they got rid of agility. Didn't have it last year.

I'm surprised more YTers aren't going. Going to post in general (so mods can just move it here - hehe).

Ellie there are 2 PBGV's entered for tomorrow.
They are in ring 12 @ 10:45am and Benched in section 19 C.
Not sure why they got rid of Agility but the will have the obedience and rally there this year.

Awww...I wish! Sounds like such fun...but way too far away for me. I would love to see pix, or video, though. Will it be televised? Good luck! :)

There was supposed to be one there last year, but it was MIA. lol

So excited that Maitai is going to be there. She has had the sweetest little girl there a couple times. Hoping she isn't done showing her.

I will post whatever pics I get. No video and I wish it was televised but I doubt it.

Hopefully they show up this time. Yep Cindy will be there and I think you are referring to Christina. Yep she will be there and 3 other Maitai girls. Roxie, Pia, and My girl Abbie. Roxie looks like a bigger version of Patience.

First I want to apologize to anyone that may have come by when I wasn't there. We were waiting for the puppy toy group to start. There were alot of delays waiting on puppies from the other groups to finish in their regular classes. Never the less we had an Amazing day today at Cobo. Roxie took Best of Breed Puppy and a 4th in the toy puppy Group. Her first show. Abbie got 2nd in her class of 4 also her first time showing ever. Some nice competition today. Can't wait to go back tomorrow. I will have to check on if anyone else posted pics on FB then I can snag them. I did get a few pics but left my cord at Cobo. UGH.

Lori...It was nice meeting you today. Congrats on Roxie and Abbey's win!:) Their was some very nice competition. I bet you can't wait for tomorrow, I know we had a good time seeing the pups and talking to the breeders.:)

Thank you. There were some very nice Yorkies there andI wish I would have had more time to talk to you. Today I will be able to relax some after we show. One of my fav judges is judging today.
