Sebastien's sister-Yardley 3 Attachment(s) I have a new project on the go, a little more than a week ago we took in Sebastien's sister "Yardley" Our breeder has sent her to me to be work with her and show her. She will be 2 years old in August and until last weekend had never been to a dog show.I started her last February on the lead when Sebastien was away in the U.S. ( she stayed with us for 7 weeks ) but it was very cold and I only got her outside twice. I've had her at handling class twice now , and she is so willing and eager to please me. She's picking up everything very fast- maybe it's because she is more mature. I've been woking with JB since March and she is already ahead of him lol Last Sunday I had her entered in her first show.It was an outside show and it was a wet ,drizzly day. She went really well and came away with a Best of Winners and Best of Opposite earning her first 2 points. We were so happy with how well she went and the points were just the icing on the cake. Thanks everyone, we're having fun with her :) She seems to really like the ring . Gail we are planning to go to the Canadian Nationsls, but I still haven't heard the date and location. Do you know ? I heard that it's going to be in a different place this year. |
Your pups are all very beautiful, but I think it's also your touch with them that has them showing so well. Yardley reminds me of Sebastien and is really gorgeous. |

Well Yardley did it again, we had our second show yesterday ( in the rain again ) and she won BOB for another 2 points. I wish I had more time to show her as I think she would have finished quickly. I have her for just 6 more days ending this Sunday .We have 2 shows on that day , so hoping she'll get a few more points and be close to finished. I will take her back in September and hopefully finish her before she comes into heat .She will be bred and retired from the show ring at that time.I'm going to miss having her around and showing her.
