Mary commented in a thread that she would be there and I had every intention of trying to meet her, talk to her, sit near her, whatever, but do you think I could figure out who she was?! Dang it! Well, I won't be so hesitant next time. Do you know when you will show Shiner again?

In May there are 2 shows. One in Denton, which I will talk Mary into showing one of the boys for me since I have to work. And the following week is Oklahoma Specialty which we will all be traveling together. San Antonio in July and maybe Houston. Hope to meet you at one of these shows.

The best part of the shows is getting to meet the exhibitors.

OKC sounds like it will be a big show, but that is a bit far for me to travel. Definitely will be in San Antonio in July and probably Houston as well, so I will track you down! SA is a cluster and I am trying to figure out which day or days will be the best to go. Really would like to attend just a specialty.

OKC is a Yorkie specialty on Friday and a toy breed show Saturday and Sunday.

So far as San Antonio in July, the YTCA National Roving specialty will be on Wednesday, followed by a toy breed show. There will be Yorkies from all over the country and from other countries competing at the Roving. Then on that Thursday, there will be the YTCA roving puppy sweepstakes and the start of 4 days of all-breed shows.

I waited until after I knew Michele done and walked up. I did see some of the other ladies but didn;t say anything as they all looked so very busy. LOL Maybe next time/next year.

Thank you to all that came out to watch the show! It was so nice to meet TexasKat and several others! I love meeting new people but sometimes I get so focused so please forgive me if I seemed quiet LOL...

I'm so proud of Drea!!! Thank you everyone for the nice compliments! She was a joy to show! In just 2 show circuits after having a litter of 4 pups she finished in Grand Style! Kathy did an amazing job on keeping her coat beautiful so she could finish her championship this weekend!

It was so great meeting you and Drea, too. I wish you could have seen the difference in your expression in the ring - while showing in Drea's class and when you knew she got the major and is now a Champion! From tension to relief. I'm so happy that I got to witness the making of a champion!!

I need to learn to quit looking so serious in the ring LOL...but I'm just so focused and in the zone I forget to try and put a smile on my face LOL.
This was a special win for me because I finished the sire and dam of this litter!

I can only imagine the emotions you were feeling, beginning to end. So awesome to have finished both Radar and Drea; quite an accomplishment you should be proud of. Now let's see how that litter fares in the ring! OKC first, right? Will you be in SA in July with one (or more!) of them?

Lots of good emotions were going on I know Drea isn't my yorkie but the bond she and I had was undeniable! It's hard when they finish and have to go home but she was the wild child and needed to go home to her momma LOL. If the puppies fall into their parents paw steps they should do their parents proud! I see good things in the coming year

I'm thinking of showing one on Sat and the other on Sun in Denton as they will be 6 months old and then they go to OKC for the specialty there. I'll be in SA for the Roving for sure but still not sure if all 4 will show or 3 or 2 but I know I'm planning on showing my two if they hold together and continue on the path I feel they are heading Will be interesting to see them mature

Sad part is I have to wait for my client yorkie to come in from Cali to start on OR wait till May for when the pups are old enough so I"m out of the ring for awhile but am gonna cheer everyone else on and wish good luck to all in the ring!!

Oh goodness I could have pet her ALL day! I knew you were busy and I didn't want to hog you so to speak. It is very intimidating for first timers because you aren't sure what the proper etiquette is and you don't want to be rude. I certainly wished now that I had introduced myself to you and the others now! Hopefully I will get the chance at some other shows soon!

I do have a question though. Why wasn't there a Yorkie in the ring with ALL the winners in the Toy breeds? There wasn't a Toy Poodle either? We waited around for for that, but lost interest when we realized they weren't there, so we left. I figured there was probably a good reason, but didn't understand.
