Louisville, KY show attendees?
 
I am attending one day during the 4 day show in Louisville, KY show (March 16-19) for my first time and was wondering if anyone here plans on showing or so I can root for you! It's my first show and I'm super excited. I'm planning to bring my little girl to walk around for exposure. I'd love to meet some of you!

Just in case you didn't know where to find the information - Onofrio will have the judging schedule and ring times when the judging program is posted (it's not posted yet). Here is the link to the site (I didn't know what day you are planning on attending). I hope this is helpful to you. ;)

Well if your little one has had all her shots great, if not I'd be very cautious. If this is your first show, be very careful if you go through the area where the exhibitors are waiting to go into the ring. This area can be very busy and little paws can get stepped on so quickly. As well there will be lots of sizes and breeds of dogs waiting to go into the ring.

On the plus side there should be lots of vendors, so bring some money, as you can buy lots of things quite easily at shows, that are often only available on the internet. Show leads, silk beds, wrapping jackets and papers, bows, beds, oh just so many things. Have fun at the show. I do know we have some members here from Kentucky that just might be present that weekend.

My girl has had all her shots/worming for now and I am taking her for her rabies next week. I have heard about the vendors - hope I don't blow all my cash! =)

It is an indoor show, but according to the show site, dogs that are not going to be entered aren't allowed..... but there are some photographers there and I believe that there were people there last year that took their dogs in just for pics..... do you have a purse type carrier that you will be using?

Hee Hee Hee.... were you referring to me? LOL!!! I think Lisa is still planning on going w/ me, too!!!
You should come on down, Gail, and enjoy some sunshine in KY!!! (it is beginning to look like Spring around here :) )

I am already making a list!!! ........ grooming products, a new "yorkie" hat for camping, and maybe something with a little "Bling" for me! :D

I'll be there with my neighbor/friend/mentor Lisa and her George. I'll have Lollipop there and one of the boy pups. They won't be old enough for their first show until the end of April, but this will be good experience for them.

We will also be going to the Franklin, TN show the weekend of March 11th.

LOL yes, and another couple we met last summer, I'd love to come on down, it is still cold up here, but can't afford the time off work:(

Hope you have a good time at the show; and say hi to Rose and Lisa and Robin, if you see them.

Don't how I missed this - sorry about that. Thank you for telling me about this. I have a purse carrier that I can use. Think I'll be able to hide her? She certainly is small enough to go unnoticed :rolleyes:

Oh, I hope I get to meet you too. Shelby&Seymour and I are planning on attending on Friday. Can't wait. :)
