You were there on Wednesday? Where were you sitting? I had a lazy, sleeping puppy in my hands, and had bright blonde hair. I was in the black chairs at ringside. I thought about asking some of the ladies that were sitting there if they were YT people, but I'm kind of shy at first introductions. =) I would have felt dumb if they were like .. um... no... Hahaha. There is going to be a big dog show in Knoxville in November. Maybe if you live close enough, we could meet there! =)

I have gone on Wed to the specialty before, but decided to go on Friday for just that reason.... most of the vendors aren't open until Thursday. :( There was a YT'er there showing..... KYBlue. She was showing a little girl in one of the puppy classes.

We were there on Friday..... I have never been to the show in Knoxville which is a possibility, but there will be one before November at the KY Horsepark- (The Bluegrass Classic) over Labor Day weekend (Sept). The show is 5 days... Wed-Mon. If you decide to go just let me know ahead of time and we can make some time to get-together.

my girl
not sure of the rest i think the second pic is a He-Kan dog and really a very nice dog he took best of breed yesterday not sure how he did in group
all in all it was a nice show Lovey needs more ring time but we had fun
this was more of a learning show for us

Diamond Jim was stunning! I was fortunate enough to sit with Barbara at Dinner Wednesday evening and she is the most delightful person you could ever expect to meet.

Louisville was my first Specialty and boy was it Special in every sense of the word. Meeting Kristi, Lisa, and Betty was so exciting. Unfortunately I didn't get to spend nearly as much time chatting as I would have liked - ringside is always so hetic.

I missed KYBlue and BiewerDiva - I hope that we meet at future shows.

I was so busy helping Lisa get George ready and "babysitting" dogs on tables that I would have missed it if Big Bird him/herself had walked by. The dogs were incredible - I have never seen so many beautiful yorkies in one place. I was completely WOWed. I don't think I could pick a favorite, but I sure liked "Wallie" the Mexican dog shown by Vicki Meadows and of course Jack, my Lollipop's sire. Diamond Jim was absolutely stunning as well and his win was well deserved.

Did I mention SHOPPING? So many vendors with quality products! Heck, I'm already saving for next year :D :D :D

Again it was a blast meeting so many fantastic folks and especially my YT family!

Yes, Seeger IS a very special little boy. He has fit into our household perfectly and keeps things pretty lively around here! He also was very well-behaved... no barking or squirming... just looking and enjoying the adventure of being at the show.
........ The weight loss has been bitter sweet.... but hey, I will take what I can get...... although I hate the thought of going thru my Summer clothes... NOTHING will fit!

I want to attend this one but it didn't work out, now I am even more disappointed reading how great it was. Hate I missed all the vendors too!

I went to the show on Sunday and it was so much fun!

It may not be a joke. Just a question that might need an answer.

The Yorkshire Terrier Club of America puts on many specialty shows thru out the country. I, personally, am NOT a member of this club but I am sure there are some show peeps here that are active members. I have met some of the people that are on the board. You can go to their website and find lots of info, including past specialty shows and the results.
