I have to share some photos of my new show puppy, he arrived at our home on February 28th. He is another Squirrel baby and I am so excited to get this little guy started in the ring....his show debut will be the last weekend in April. He'll be 8 months old then.

Thanks Everybody, we just love him ! Sebastien is a little put out ,but he is gradually warming up top him. Beatrice loves puppies, so she's having fun bossing him around.

My breeder's husband has been calling him Tank, because when he was very small he would just run through everything, like a tank LOL

Denis for a joke has called him Jean-Pierre and I've been calling him JP for short.

I think he will be registered under the name Squirrel's For Your Eyes Only. His Daddy's name is Squirrel's Double 07, so it had to be in keeping with the James Bond film names.

The pad training is coming along well, when he arrived honme just 3 days ago he was marking everything, he' 6 months old so he has stsrated doing that LOL I had a bellyband on him the whole time, so he didn't get any pee on anything.

Now he is just lifting his leg on the bottle that we have placed on the pads , so hopefully eventually I can leave him without a bellyband or diaper

I like "For Your Eyes Only." His theme song could be Carly Simon's "Nobody Does It Better," lol. Different Bond movie theme song, but it would work. Sebastien may object. ;)

Too funny! My younger boy was called Tank by our breeder's husband for the same reason! We brought him home at about 8 months old, and although he still plows into his brother Max, I thought he was too sweet to be a Tank. I named him for Teddy Roosevelt, who also had a zest for life and plowed through everything.

I look forward to watching "JP" develop. :)

For a second there I thought he was wearing a sweater. He must be so small, or the belly band too big. Either way, that pic brought a big smile to my face. :) Good luck in the ring to you and JP.

Thanks everybody :) It's a week tonight that he arrived here and things are going very well. He has such an attitude....I love it !
I haven't done much with him yet but grooming and putting bands on him....putting him on the table several times a day.
Potty training is going well, he's pooping on the pads all the time, he's a marker-hence the bellyband and the diapers....he's not doing it as much now and hopefully we can break him of it eventually.
Next step....lead training

Awww, congratulatons Carl, JP definitely has "Atti-Tude". Love the expression on his face, looks like, "are you done taking pictures, daddy?" lol

LOL Bo, poor little thing....he doesn't know what he's in for. Beatrice and Sebastien know to run when they see the camera coming now LOL

Got this one a few nights ago, he just keeps getting better looking !

I thought it was time to clean the little guy up and take a few good photos of him. He will be 7 months old on March 22nd.

We start handling class next week and our first show will be the 30th of April.Can't wait, this guy is a little spitfire !!

I am fairly new to this site. I just was on your posted site, and I must tell you Beatrice and Sebatien are absolutely beautiful!!! Many compliments!! I know a lot of work and research goes into such beautiful dogs in exhibition!
