Razz today in Hambury NY won Group 4.. I am over the moon. So very happy

I will post pics when I get them

Congrats!!!! That show was 10 minutes from me and I couldn't make it today. :( so happy for your win!!!! Woo hoo! I can't wait to see pics!

Ooowee ty... We are working on our Grand Ch pts actually, and Donna says Group 4 does nothing towards that Grand Ch :( Despite beating out 190 dogs for that group 4.... Wail how fair is that???

Congrats Gail and Razz! What an awesome accomplishment!! I'm so happy for you and Razz and his handler! I felt honored to get the phone call before Gail posted the thread YAH!! I always love talking to Gail especially after a win like that!!!! I can't wait to meet you and Razz in NY!!

It stinks about the points, but Razzle is surely amazing and beautiful. I am hoping that he got points toward his Grand Championship for his breed wins this weekend.

He did get points for going breed towards his Grand Championship :) That is the only place you get points towards that award. Razzle is doing great!

Gail, congratulations on Razz's group win. Won't that help toward his ranking among yorkies? I know you must be thrilled beyond words.

HYup watch me, I'm dancing around the room, and anxiously awaiting the return of my boy from NY.

Yes breed wins count towards top Yorkie in standings, but sigh, I just want a Grand CH. It is really too expensive to special a dog for Top Dog award, too rich for my purse. I was told it would be ( now this is with a top pro handler) about 35 to 40K in the year.

And I'm a suck I can't do without my boy for longer than a month.. He finished his US Ch in 3wks only, but I longed for him to be home with me about the whole time. To do without my boy for a whole year??? My stomach sinks, my heart bleeds, nope no way can't do that.

CONGRATS Gail & Razz! How exciting this must be! I know you can look at him and know what a winner he is, but nice to have that validation too! Look forward to seeing the pics. I hope they got some "in action" -- I love to see those babies move!

Oh yes the validation goes in the show and apart from the show ring. Exhibitors breeders do come up and ask to see/go over your dog.

Laurie my handler had many ppl go up to her and Razz, inquiring asking, going over my boy. It is part of the beyond show ring evaluation.

To a person they said to her, oh my Lord, he is beautiful, and such a sweet personality. I have a tad of concern cause Razzle would I think go with anyone who is nice to him. But my handler never leaves the dogs alone when she is in the ring. And all pro handlers group in one section at the shows, and truly watch out for strangers.

There have been stories about dogs stolen from the shows/showground, and it worries me.

That is awesome Gail!!! That lil Razz is making us proud!!!!

I can understand that you don't like Razz being out of your site for long and worrying about his safety. We don't go too many places without Shelby, Seymour & Seeger let alone them go away without us! (.... the RV comes in handy for that! ;) )

Hope he is home with you soon!

When she called me to tell me she was non chalant about it LOL...and that was my 2nd phone call today from her after we talked earlier for an hour or so and me telling her that it doesn't take as much coat as Radar to win LOL...and then came the 2nd phone call saying Razz got a group 4!! I think she was still in shock (that I was right LOL) from the amazing win!!!
I'm so proud of Razz and Gail!! She's done an amazing job prepping Razz for all his success!! Love ya Gail!

Awh ty my friend, and |Razz is HOME Yippee, safe n sound got in 15 minutes or so ago. He ran and ran around the house, said hi to the other dogs went out to pee etc, said hi to me, ran around and around, and came back and leapt into my arms. Big Sigh............ He's home my loverly boy

Awh ty Kristin, I was just so flummoxed when I heard the news. Apparently he came close yesterday to placing in group as well.

Laurie said he showed beautifully and she spoils him.... let's him sleep in the bed with her! And he played with a king cavalier spaniel too....
