Very excited to announce... I found my mentor. :D I had wonderful chat on phone today, and she said she usually not mentor but she can see how passionate I is about bettering the breed and considering how there not many reputable breeder around here, she would help me get into the world of showing, then down track if I wanted to, breeding. Her staple was I spend two years studying, attending shows and learning so when I is twenty I can come to her and say I is ready to begin and not just pipe dream. I would like to thank the wonderful helpful breeder on here who have PM/email me and started very useful thread (looking at you Brooklyn :)) to inspire me to have the courage to badger this wonderful lady until she saw that I was...Yorkie material? :D |

Thanks you! To anyone wondering why she wants me to wait two years- I is very young and also my English not the best. She believes in this time my interest will mature and my understanding will develop better. :) |

I was exactly twenty when I first started. You will do fine and then have a lifetime to learn so much. You could be one of those pioneers someday. |

Congratulations Disney. The road is long and hard.....no short cuts, but worth the effort just because your love of the breed. Like most of us exhibitors, I think you'll find your heart in showing and not so much the whelping box. Although, there is nothing like showing your own breeding in the Bred By Exhibitor class is such a feeling of accomplishment and pride. |

I suppose like everything it comes and goes. Some days I do better than other days. If I put more thought into post and spend more time on it, English is perfect. When I first came here I didn't want people to know I was foreign (for own personal reason) so I worked hard to disguise it. Hope that clears up for you. |
