I still have pictures my mom took of me making the "Y" "M" "C" "A" letters with my arms and body - that was decades ago. :( I listened to them on 8 track tapes.... does that age me any? What was their other big hit? Was it self-titled Village People? |

And that got me to thinking. Maybe we shouldn't camp in the wilder places. The more remote provincial parks. Before we had Razz and Zoey, we went with Magic to lake Superior - Agawa Bay campground. Oh Mary the landscape was stunning, we camped literally 100 feet from the shores of Lake Superior, superlative sunsets, grand and many hiking trails. But wildlife was there. My hubby said, when I bought the bold orange collar and leads because I didn't want Magic mistaken for a bear, he said your crazy no-one is going to mistake him for a bear, I said hummm. First two days on the trails, the three folks we passed said at first my heart leapt , I thought he was a bear coming up the trail at me, then I saw the orange. Well we went swimming at another place and up ahead on the road, was a real bear. He was young, and foraging for food. Thank God, Magic didn't notice him, I just turned 90 degrees around and said to hubby we are going. He said why, I said look up ahead!. Oh okay let's get out of here. Razzle is lots my alert than my Magic boy, and in fact so is Zoey. I replay that situation with three dogs on lead, and well, it's kind of scarey. Some things for us to think about. |
Had to change my sigi. Just for a chuckle. :) |

Wow - there must have been something in the YorkieTalk water last night - I got dizzy reading what you all wrote! :D Yelena - I was wondering if you are a member of the YTCA? If not, what is the name of the club that you are a member of? When you were commenting on "not questioning the YTCA" were you talking to: bjh, straightsilk, and puppylove11? Because I think it was them that were doing the "questioning" of the YTCA's rules. Brooklyn & Mardelin were explaining to them (bjh, straightsilk, and puppylove11) about the YTCA rules. Believe me - Mardelin & Brooklyn do respect the YTCA. They chose to be members of the YTCA. They believe in it and try to uphold the rules. All they were saying is that "nothing" is "perfect". There is always room for improvement. You can only make things better by being a part of it. There's a saying... if you aren't a part of the solution - you're a part of the problem. It's the people who are not involved in the YTCA (questioning, speculating, criticizing, and complaining) that are part of the problem. bjh, straightsilk, and puppylove11 -- if you don't like what's happening then get involved in it and change it. Y*M*C*A :cheer::cheer::cheer::cheer::cheer: |
