All flights canceled today and morning flights in the morning. I'm hoping I can get out tomorrow afternoon and arrive tomorrow night. Instead of flying into Laguardia I'm flying into Long Island which is an hour from the city so I'm taking the train in LOL...this will be an adventure for sure! I will get here come heck and high waters LOL

Oh boy I hope we all make it!! Pam is now going to fly to Dulles and they said that she is booked on a flight into laguardia in late evening tonight or I guess early am.

I 've got my fingers crossed for her. For me too.

I'll let you know 2morrow if they cancel my flight. Shoot dang weather:mad:

It makes me glad that I'm driving. I sure hope they have the roads clear by the time we come through. This is going to be quite the adventure gals!

Lisa is planning on leaving around 3 in the morning. They should get up my way around 11. The plan is to try to make it there before dark. We'll have to follow a plow in!

OMG OMG. please go safely. My breeder and friends are leaving at 3am too! oh goodness i'm going to worry so much

I don't drive in snow since I had a very bad accident one year. rolled my car and wrote it off! Broke my leg and thumb and had to have surgery too. uck.

But at least I have lots to do now. Just went grocery shopping got all sorts of prepared foods for my family to have when I'm gone. Got a new videocamera too ::)

Razzle needs grooming as does my big male.

Then packing for trip ...yippee

Hubby says he will change Razzle's face wraps including topknot ... I'm biting my nails already lol

Okay scratch all of that,,they changed me again. Now I'm flying directly into New York. I leave at 8am and get there at 12:32. My return flight has been changed to Monday. Which is fine except the hotel rates went up to about 300$ a night. So thats bites. I only have reservation thru Sunday. Oh well.....I'm still checking. I might have to go to a little dive somewhere. But even those are about 150$. I guess they know they can get it. If we have no where else to go. They are making up for what they lost from travel delays, I guess.:thumbdown Bummer!

I'm willing to bet your flight will change again LOL...looks like all morning flights into NY are canceled...I sure hope you get in....we are going to be flying into Long Island instead of the city and we arrive tomorrow night...I hope it plans to stop snowing tonight so we can all get in tomorrow

NOOOOO don't sat that!...That would be 3 times changed. :( I keep checking but it still is booked. I'm going to check weather now and see what it shows for New York in AM. Go away snow!

I know what you mean LOL...I've had to flights canceled so far and now I'm on my 3rd reservations LOL....so far our flight is still scheduled and my friend Linda who is flying in tomorrow hasn't received anything as of yet and hasn't had her flight canceled yet :) SNOW GO AWAY!!!

Weather.com shows a 20% chance of flurry in am until 9am and partly cloudy at noon. Gosh I hope its right. I would get there right at noon. Here is what I saw on part of it.

Feb 10 TodaySnow will be heavy at times along with gusty winds. Temps nearly steady in the low to mid 30s. Winds NNE at 25 to 35 mph. 4 to 6 inches of additional snow expected. Oh goodness what a bummer .... I've got no news in terms of my flight but then I'm not leaving until 2morrow at 4pm or so.

Just check my flight in the morning and it's still on schedule. So far so good. (Holding my breath)...........hopefully New York in thawing out. It's still cold here. We had sleet today. We hardly ever get sleet....it figures!
I just check the New Yorker for Sunday night on Hotels.com......600$ now. Thats just crazy. I'll probably just try to fly stand-by (or sit-by) on Sunday. I'm not paying that for a hotel. So I'll try to get out on Sunday. At least I'm getting out early tomorrow. (I hope):rolleyes: Hope the rest of you have a safe travel day.....

I would check directly with the hotel. Explain the situation and see if they can help you. I know that I and several others canceled rooms Monday morning that we had held onto. Call them at 212-971-0101.

WOW...The Hotel did come down from the 600.....to 329.00 a night. Nope, Ill try to fly on home on Sunday. Thats just crazy. I could find something a few miles away but that would defeat the purpose. I'll probably find a flight Sunday. I'll just be thankful to get there.....:D

Now I have to wrap Razzle and pack .... sigh..... why or why is it always so late for me.

At least house is clean - laundry done. other dogs walked and groomed - groceries done. lol maybe that explains it.

Well...I just found out that today's flight is not canceled, so I called airline and changed the ticket again...
my flight in 3 hrs!!! I hope I can make it on time! Now it's more possible to be just on time for the show!

Hope everyone gets out safely. I just got pictures from a friend in Dallas of the 3 inches of snow she had. Doesn't happen that often.. Also heard some of the flights out of Dallas were canceled..WOW!
Donna, as much as you love New York..I think having all this in February, in NY is CRAZY!!!

We've had about 3 inches of snow overnight here in Dallas. TV said 150 flights have already been cancelled. Still snowing and expected to continue most of the day. Good luck to everyone trying to get to NY and be safe,.

Just talked to Pat and her flilght is still ok. She is heading for the airport in a few minutes. Trish and Ken had an earlier flight and as far as she knows their flight is still on schedule also. Good luck to all.

We have had over 6 inches of snow now, but as far as I know the planes to NY hove gotten out.
