Tami I had one that was afraid of the table too. I practiced stacking him backwards -- that is rear feet at the edge of the table and front feet towards the middle. I also used a lower table and sat in a chair beside it to start out. Eventually (with treats) I was able to spin him and stack him on the edge properly, and now he doesn't mind the height of the table.

Good luck. She is a real charmer.

I'll try that and keep working with her. I guess the height and table can be a scary place for them. I probably need to stop letting the vet give them their shots on the table as well. I don't want them to associate the table with pain or unpleasantness.

Here's her pics at about 4 months. Take a look at the hair on his feet, it's a good indication of what the adult texture will be.

it is kind of hard to see her feet, are they silky? has her hair always been silky and shiny? my puppy's hair is kind of shiny but mostly it's just soft and kind of cottony. it is hard to tell what kind of hair he has on his feet, but it does lay down flat. does that mean it will be straight hair? she is very cute by the way :D

She is a doll. Her face is just darling and her coat looks great! I am traveling down to Virginia for the specialty with a friend Jackie from JaLa Yorkshire Terriers. Hope to meet you and see your beautiful girl in person!!
