Mary, I am soo proud for all of you. It's just so awesome to know that the beautiful standard in which these lines were built will continue with the class and dedication that they were based on. I'm sure Mrs G is on Cloud 9 with what you and Mary Ann have accomplished.

You're right Connie we do owe all that has been obtained to Mrs. G. As a matter of fact I plan on naming my next female show dog Mardelin's Lee's Legacy. Call name Jennie Lee. After Jennie Ashe and Mrs. G.

And to think Charmer wasn't going to be a show dog....he was just gonna be my forever pet.

Jennie Ashe is Jen's Yorkshire Terriers, another wonderful lady that Mrs. G started out.

You may have some of her breeding in Max's pedigree.

She bred Ch. Jen's This Time Blue Tones/Tony (you saw his pic at Mrs. G's house). You know Tony's wall. Tony is my Tahlulah's sire.

Nope he wasn't going to be a show dog...It was on a whim that we put him in the ring. Go-Go was just about to Champion and Mrs. G and I had a conversation; that went kinda of like this: let's give him a whirl and see what he does. We entered them in the same show. The day that Go-Go Championed, Charmer's first day out, he pointed.

All I can say is WOW!!!!!

Even though I own a teapot, I believe very strongly in doing everything possible to encourage breeders to strive to breed within the standard. Tucker is my first yorkie, let alone first dog, and I had absolutely no idea what I should be looking for, or any idea that there was a standard for "yorkie." Just thought he was really cute and the lady selling him was really "nice." I couldn't love him any less, but still recognize the importance of never supporting a "breeder" like the one I bought him from again, for the long term interest and integrity of the breed. You live and you learn, huh?

Thank You for the pictures Mary Ann. CJ looks so regal in them - the beach and the water in the background. You can tell Mary is taking really good care of him... but there's no place like "home".
