Radar and Westminster
 
I think I can safely now say Radar "will" be invited to the Garden! At the end of 10/29/08 he is #5 and closing for Westminster was 10/31/08 which was a Friday and there wasn't a way for the beautiful dog in #6 to catch Radar!

I am so excited with his accomplishments this year and those that have believed in Radar and I, I can't thank you enough! You know who you are and without you guys Radar and I wouldn't have made it this far! My close small circle of friends are so special and without their encouragement, frienship, love and just being there for me without them my dreams would have never been achieved! I share this with my friends because they are to be honored as much as Radar and I thank you guys!

I just had to brag LOL...I'm so so excited that Radar has done so well! I just have to share my exciting news :)

Congratulations, Donna, on a job well done by you, Tonia, and Radar. I know it will be a thrill for you to go to Westminster and watch Radar. Will this be the first time you had a dog make to Westminster? We will be pulling for him. You have every right to brag.:)

Congratulations Donna and good luck at the Garden. I hear it is very crowded there and the days are very long, but I am sure having a dog there will be so much fun.

Thank you Barbara! Tonia has done a WONDERFUL job with Radar! It will be exciting to watch him in the ring!

Cammie was shown at Westminster but wasn't invited so this makes our first invitation and I'm so very excited! Radar wasn't shown as much as some of the top yorkies like Ricky and KJ but he's done very well :)

Thanks Debbie! It is crowded at the garden LOL...bad thing this time I go we won't be back in the multi grooming where there is alittle more room to move about so that means we'll be in the benching area where it's VERY VERY crowded but there will be several of us together so we can take a break! Yes, it's a very long day! The dogs have to be there all day and can't leave until after 8 in the evening so it will be for a long day. Like I said, good thing there will be several of us there to help each other out :)

I don't like crowds but I am going to the garden one day , just because it has to just be amazing to be among all the great dogs and dog people. It is a goal of mine.

Well it's very crowded at the garden LOL...in the benching area you can barely move around and I'm not looking forward to that at all!

It's amazing to be among all the big time dogs and you get to see so many handlers and lots of beautiful, beautiful dogs! Going to the Garden is just so amazing within itself! I love it LOL...just makes for a long day...I went back to the hotel when we were allowed to leave and watched the groups on TV I was that exhausted LOL

Well in Salem we have a theater that shows already released movies but when the dog show is on, they put it on the big screen. They charge 10.00 a night and that includes a meal and the theater is filled with local dog people and we all have the best time. Not the Garden but still so much fun.

That sounds like fun! Nothing like the Garden in person but I know when I was there on 06 I had a blast in the snow but I was so ready to go back to the hotel room and watch the groups in my bed and on TV. I was so exhausted! That was the year that NYC got a record 24 inches of snow that was fun to see LOL

Thank you Tina! I'm beaming with pride :) This year was a crazy ride for sure but one I'll always remember! What will be more exciting is when one day when I have my own yorkies from my own breedings make the invite but nonetheless this is the most exciting to date :) In my short time involved in this arena I've accomplished more than I ever thought :) What a rush! I hope it continues LOL

Thank you Maria! I am very proud of Radar and he has made my dreams come true :) even if we aren't among the winning dogs he's the one I would always bring home and love and enjoy! He's been amazing! I'm just honored to own such a beautiful dog from wonderful breeders!

Well, girl you took me "under your wing" from the beginning and taught me the ropes! You were a major factor in boosting my confidence ! I learned a lot from watching you and Cammie! I'm grateful to you for that, and always will be. I was as green as grass and so in awe of everything! Politics and all , we still love it, and it is our passion even though it is not easy!
Radar is a beautiful boy and we are blessed to have them! I know that you have made a lot of sacrifices this year, and it has been hard for you. Now we have 2009 to look forward to!

Reisha hon you've done very well in your own respect and I'm so proud of the accomplishments you've made being an owner/handler! I just wish I was able to do with Radar what you accomplished with Kobee but as you stated I had to make my own sacrifices but a choice I made :) We are very blessed to have our beautiful babies and it makes the sacrifice that much easier to make :) Without my small circle of friends beside me and that includes you and Sonja it has made this journey a pleasure!

2009 will be a slow year for me LOL.. I have only Morgan to show for Preston and when she's done she goes home back to Canada and with no puppies at home maybe I can save some money and get back into the ring mid summer :)

Huge congratulations Donna! He was up against some great competition and came out ahead so many times! He is a beautiful, beautiful boy and I can not help but smile everytime I see him in the Dream Portrait I have. He deserves to be up there with the best and I am so thrilled that you will get to be at the garden with him!!! I am going to NY soon!!! As soon as I am done with college, and hopefully vet school...then I will finally be able to get away in Feb. Please take some pictures for those of us who can not attend, have a blast and don't stop smiling no matter what! WTG!!!!

Congrats Donna! I am so happy for you that you have met yet another one of your goals.

My 2009 will be a little slower too, I think. My full-time job has changed to part-time but I have doctors adding to my own business so I really have no idea what the future holds for me and the dog shows. I'll see when we happen to land in the same spot.
