Can you please tell me some brand name for the acrylic spray? Haven't been able to get my hands on it, salespeople look like :confused: when I try to explain what I'd like to purchase..

Mmmmm don't have any on hand......I purchase mine at Michaels....but, I see that you're in Finland.....I don't know if brand names would be the same. But, it is usually sold in arts and crafts stores and can be purchased in various finishes...flat, satin and gloss......what you must be careful about is to make sure that you air the bow out completely. I usually don't like using it for fear the odor will affect my dogs.

Ok, is this the stuff that is used on paintings and such to protect them? A BIG thank you for helping me!:)

Yes....it stiffens very well, especially if you're in a hurry and can't wait for the Aileen Quick Stiffner, which takes several layers of spraying before you get the desired stiffness......and then the stiffness is also dependent on the humidity levels.......it does take longer...but, I prefer it over the Acrylic spray...because of the toxin levels.

Aileens Quick stiffener, what does it contain?
I've used hair spray before, but it doesn't hold that long and rain destroys ithe bow totally...

Just checked the bottle...doesn't state what the contents are....but, I would think it is a startch with some sort of paste......

do a google search....much less expensive when ordering via the internet.

Here's some bows that I've made. Not the most decorated ones, but I had pics on my PC on these..

Small plastic tubes.. Actually I have those blue suction tubes from dentists :D

I've been making bows for a while but wasn't sure about putting crystals on at first which was why I was originally going to just buy some already made...but I finally tried it and like how they turned out.
