Crufts starts today and I think the Toy Grp is judged today.

Yes, it's the Toy group & the Utility group today.

We get one hour's coverage on TV tonight. They will show the final of each group, so we'll see who wins BOB at least.
Apart from that, I expect they'll concentrate on the crowd pleasers, agility, obedience & the dancing dogs, so don't suppose we'll see much of the breed judging, if any.

Sunday is the final, Best in show. Luckily, the Terrier group is on the last day so I'll be there with my other breed :D

I love the Terrier Group. Before Yorkies, I had Parson Russell Terriers. I would still have them but they drove my husband crazy. It takes a special type to live in a house with a pack of Parsons.

The breeder of my Maltese won the Top Grp last year. Would you tell me if Divine Marc of Friendship from Ireland wins Breed and/or places in Group? It will be months before we get to see it on TV.

What is your other breed? Please let us know how you do on Sun.

I really hope to visit this show someday. Our Westminster is 2,500 dogs and Crufts is 25,000. Show dog heaven!

It is heaven. I went yesterday. :D Spent loads of money and met loads of dogs! :D :D :D

Oh I am so jealous...did you take any pictures you can share?

I wish I had loads of photos of the gorgeous Yorkies I met... BUT... it seems that the Yorkie showers were the most unfriendly there. I met one lovely lady who was putting the papers in her Yorkie's hair and she was happy to stand and talk to us for a while but all the others that I saw didn't even like you talking to their dogs let alone take photos.

I did take a photo of the giant Gromit that was outside, (from Wallace and Gromit), and of a HUGE Bernesse Mountain Dog that was rolling around on his back like a kitten. Oh, and this dog puppet that I was having a conversation with too... :confused:

I would upload them but they are on my phone and the battery is flat and I can't go get the charger at the minute.

2 years ago Quaker's sire...Qoccle's Oliver Lightsome and his breeder/owner/handler won the breed...I believe it was the first at Crufts by a yorkie that carriers his tail up! Most in England are taught to carry them down and down when stacked.

Just have to rub it in that you have an Oliver son. :wink: That's OK. I would too.:)


How old is Oliver? I was looking at his picture in the last issue of the Yorkie Club Magazine - his facial furnishings are amazing. I have heard of people hand feeding to protect facial furnishings. He would almost have to be hand fed. Someone has dedicated a big part of their daily life to conditionng that dog.

Thank you I have seen it...but loved watching it again!
We also have ordered 3 videos from Sweety Blue to watch him fly...2 of the Euro dog shows and of course..."Oliver the Legend" LOL

yea...It's kind of not about the dog, but at least you can see him at some point. I have some friends who has pups from Oliver. Not all of them are as perfect as Oliver :(

Thanks Yelena - love the ad making. I saw his photos in the Yorky Club magazine #8 (pp. 49 52) and thought to myself - "What a beautiful dog!" Oh, and I want that car! LOL
Oliver is a beautiful yorkie and the ad is perfect! I thought they had pulled up in the car somewhere. Little did I know.

Have just checked on your site and found the photos of Crufts showing the Yorkies and was really excited as the yorkie stood upright in the middle with the quote "the one in the middle is not at statue" is actually my Hensleigh
