I am a new member and My Yorkie got her first major Yesterday.
 
My handler called last night to tell me the good news. She said " Dreamy went Winners Bitch again today. Then she said " and it gets better she got her first Major...." I almost passed out. I wanted to tell the world but the world does not understand the joy of hearing those words. "We got a Major today". So I thought I would sign up with you guys who could share in these happy moments with me. :)

Congratulations!!!!!!!! You must be very proud. I only recently started showing and took my Novice puppy to our first show. she got lots of ribbons but no points and i was so excited anyway. Again, congratulations. That is quite an accomplishment.

Dreamy is from Germany. Her full name is Daylight of Padawis. You can see her on my web site. www.chantaillylaceyorkies.com You will see her on my front page and then go to the yorkie page. I am so proud of her. She has been winning the past few weeks .. She is in a show today and Thanks Giving week-end.

I know how you feel. I am also new at this. I put Dreamy in the shows earlier this year and she got ribbons but NO points. I had a handler tell me that I should wait until she was out of the puppy classes and her coat was longer. But I was so excited to start showing her. I did it anyway. And I learned a hard lesson. She only got ribbons. But I was so proud of those ribbons. I didn't even care if they were red or yellow... I was happy.
But now that she is almost 2 and her coat is to the ground she is winning fast in just 2 week-ends.

I know how you feel about getting those majors!! You feel like you are floating on air. Enjoy the ride!! My girl got back to back majors last week. Hopefully you will be saying the same thing later today. Good luck!!
How many points does Dreamy have now? She is very pretty. I love the one of her in the grass. Padawi - has some very nice yorkies!

Congratulations on your majors. I know you are floating. Is this your first dog to finish? Dreamy has 8 points as of last night. I have not heard today. I will let you know when I hear. Did you look at Dreamy's show page

Wonderful news..and welcome...winning is so much better then losing. LOL the first win I ever had myself was at the Amory in Baltimore, it was only ONE point and I jumped around like a total fool! My husband, who was not familiar with what a win included, asked if I had won money...you would have thought the way I acted I did..LOL I don't know how some take the wins and barely smile.

Thank you for your kind words.... It is so much fun....
As for the Adam's story. I need to get to work on it. My husband and I were surprised with a new baby son. He is 10 weeks old. So I have had my summer and fall full of baby stuff. I am just getting back on my feet with my web site. That is why I have a handler with Dreamy. Keep a watch. I hope to be able to work on it in the near future.:)

Padawi's does have very beautiful dogs.
We have a male that however is beautiful.
I think his flight to us must have tramatized him, he was on a very long flight.
He hid for 2 weeks under anything he could and just look out at us.
He is very happy and beautiful but just not the personality it takes for the ring. We had hoped he would be a Champion.
I visited your site, your dogs are nice. I love Roy from Padawi's
He was my favorite.

Hey I know you!! We met in Va. Beach last week when you were hiding behind my chair when your girl did you know what in the ring. Welcome!! It was so nice to see her beat Kirston's gal again on Sunday. At the rate she's going she'll be back home with you before you know it. Could you pm me with the handler's info, I lost the card she gave me but somehow managed to hold on to the bands. Go Figure. Nice to have you on board!

Do you have a web site? I would love to see your little male. Who are the parents? My boy Masterpiece is from there also. His father is Bodyguard. He turned a year old last week. His coat is on the ground... He is rather small. BG is smaller than Roy. But a cute guy. I will start showing MasterPiece some this spring. :animal36

Wow small world. I am so happy to hear from you. That was a site was it not. I still have nightmares about that day, hahahahaha lol. I will get you that info.

Welcome to YT an congratulations on her Major!! I was the same way when Bingo got his first point... you would have thought he won Mr. America! lol I even cried! It such an amazing feeling. That's when you know you are hooked!

Congrats on your win!! I have met your handler when I was in Florida! She handles for a dear friend of mine out of Florida. Ask your handler if she knows Grace Carter. Your yorkie is pretty!
