If AKC recognizes the KC registry in your country, then you can bring your dogs to the US and finish in AKC..and you can enter Westminster...I do not know what other countries besides the obivous (UK, France, Can, Germany etc) AKC extents their priviledges...

i just came back from a show in Va Beach. I met Suzie Kellar who stated she was invited to Westminster.

2 of my Charmer's sons will be attending too.

Suzie and I may attend but she isn't sure if she will show Harly or not. She's terribly anxious to cut him down.

tami, it was so exciting meeting you, your husband, and your beautiful babies. Conner just takes my breath away. And, your husband is so very nice. he was explaining to me everything that was going on in the ring, what he thought about the other Yorkshire Terriers and it was very fascinating listening to him.
I will post the pictures tomorrow i took at the show today.

Well my hiney isn't my best side but being the biggest it would be the easiest to catch. It was nice to meet you as well. Yes, Terry has been so very supportive in all this madness. Bless his heart, he's just a love. Hope to see you again today.

How exciting it would be to be able to attend the west minster dog show. Anyone know how many yorkies entries are there in year 2008?

Since the top 5 dogs from each breed are invited...all other entries are accepted on a loto program. Entry closing date was December 7th.....not sure when all entries have been tallied, but should be revealed real soon.

I am....but, congratulations should go out to their breeders "Sandra & Joyce and of course their dam "Eclair's Roses Are Red".

Romeo championed earlier in the year.....and Kizzie finished in October....the weekend Kizzie championed....both took the breed on 2 different days and took Toy Group placements. Now how often does that happen with 2 litter brothers?
