When I got him, he had been starved and beaten. Large patches of hair had fallen out, due to starvation. Below is a picture of my outside dogs. The rescued one is the lighter blonde. well i posted this on another board and someone there got in touch with a lab rescue this is what she posted I have someone from lab rescue that can take Susie and Angel, but they won't let her pull them because she's not a 501(c)3. She has a waiting list for well-behaved (she'll take care of that part) yellow lab mixes. She also originally mentioned pulling Lars and Larry, too, but is tight on gas money (which I was going to send her). So how do we get a 501(c)3 person to pull them?? the 501(c) means you are a non profit rescue i beleive i cant beleive they would rather KILL these dogs rather then let them go to a rescue gggggggrrrrrrrrrrr |
May be Elizabeth or some one from this forum could go back and get them and meet this lady with them. I wil pay for them if some can go get them. Seriously, pm me if this is possible. |
lilys mom i would be willing to pay also i think the porblem is transporting which i would also be willing to pay for gas or what ever i would even take one or two of the dogs but i'm in CA and going to AZ this weekend i wish it was on my way |

OMG!!! I hope most found homes!! R.I.P. to those who had no choice :cry: It angers me to see people get a pup, and several months, years down the line, dump them at the shelter, pound, etc. Like they were a bag of trash!!! :( |
oh this makes me so sad. i know its been a while since the date and i wanted to say to elizabeth. you are layla's gaurdian angel. you saved her life and she knows it. i'm sure if ever need be layla would give her life for you! i want to thank you for saving her. many people think getting a dog from a shelter, "it doesn't make a difference its only one dog," that's not true. it makes a world of difference to that one dog. my dog was in the pound for 3 months he was going to be put down in 1 or 2 days. he was a little over a year. we adopted him and he is the sweetest dog i've ever had (ok so is tucker but whatever lol) |
