Wow, I think she's adorable and so dainty!! I would snap her up in a heart beat if I didn't already have 3 dogs! :p I hope she finds a wonderful forever family. |
She was adopted almost two months ago, so that's good! I hope she got a loving home with people that know how to help her with her issues. |
Okay, that coincides with what I was told when I called almost a month ago. I was told that she was adopted, but that they just hadn't removed her from one of the websites (PMR has two...one ending in 'org' and the other ending in 'com'). They really should take her picture down. She's so cute that I'm sure tons of people are filling out apps specifically for her for no reason if she's already taken! |

Hi Angela, Thank you for your interest in Dory, she is still up for adoption. She is still learning to trust humans but is doing pretty good. She flinches when you try to pet her but then settles down and lets you pet her. If you touch around her head and neck she really flinches, poor girl must have been hit by human hands. She is frightened of sudden moves or loud noises. She does not like thunder and lightening and will pace but if you put her up on the couch in your lap, she will settle down. She also has some separation anxiety and will poop and then stomp in it but she is doing better with that too. She is a big time poop eater, so you really have to be good about picking it up in the yard Now for all the good stuff, she is la very sweet girl and does like attention, she is learning to play with the other dogs and with toys. It is so fun to watch her playing now. She has even started to run in the yard with them, chasing and tumbling. She will make someone a very nice addition to their family. The FM even sent me the link to the application to adopt her. |
Disregard my post. I am mixing up two different threads in my responses. I was referring to Micky, that someone posted in another thread (from PMR). |

I just went to the PMR site and Dory has not been adopted yet. What gives? Has anyone here that applied heard from PMR? |
I also just received word that the rescue I was confusing this with is STILL not adopted. He's adorable and named "Mickey" and is a pup that went through liver shunt surgery. Alas, I'd take him but I just (happily) committed to a 12 week old yorkie this past weekend. Unfortunately, their ultimate response, assuring me that Mickey was once again available, came too late for me and for him. :( |
I hope both Mickey and Dory finds a good home...sigh* |

somone take the bebe ok im a tad bit emotional but omg they need a lap and a person to manipulate i am so sad about this |
Ok, I am going to try and adopt Dory. SHe is very close to me, and I would love to have her! However, I did recently apply for another pup on petfinder, but was rejected becasue I have no fence. Hopefully, I can try and explain that its still a very secure yard, and she will never be left unsupervised. Wish me LUCK!! |
