I love the feature of being able to read previous posts! I recently rehomed an adult dog & it really helped me determine she would be going somewhere she would be loved and cared for. It was not an easy decision and I don't know if I could do it again but at least I know she is being spoiled and cared for, which was my main concern. I hope that you are as lucky as I was to find a great home for this bundle of love. She's over standard, but just more to love. Best of luck! |
She's precious. I hope she finds a nice, loving home.:) |
Anyone interested in a spayed female I have seen Yorkies of all sizes from large 18 lb ones to tiny ones. They all have the same lovable Yorkie personality and the beautiful Yorkie features. I am not a breeder and while I know that there are breed standards for all breeds there are also a lot of people out there who love the breed but can't afford to pay the price for a tiny yorkie. As far as I'm concerned there will always be a place for those "non-standard" beauties that some breeders put down. |
Hi, I was just thinking about this little girl and wondering if you ever found a good home for her? I don't need another dog, but was hoping you had luck in placing her. |
I'm not a breeder but... Quote:
I agree....My neighbor wanted a bigger yorkie and he is the sweetest little guy ever. He is 11 pounds... Just because a yorkie isn't the standard 7 pounder doesn't mean they shouldn't be bred. These bigger yorkies bring much love and meaning to many peoples lives, why would any one be upset they are being bred??? |
still available Thanks for asking, but no, we haven't placed her in a new home yet. I guess it just takes the right family to come along and see her. She is an absolute sweetheart and loves attention, she is a big lapdog! I certainly can't understand why nobody would be interested in adopting her as she is perfect for a family pet. I'll keep you posted if I find her a home! Debbie |
why did she have to be spayed? did you breed her ?are you selling the others also that had to be spayed neutered? |
Hi Debbie, I also have a teapot Yorkie. Buddy is 13lbs and I would not trade him for all the tea in china. However, so many people like the tiny ones. Perhaps if she were free ( because of her age & weight) she might find her forever home. Just a thought. Good luck. She is adorable.:) |

And I've got the "flowerpot" yorkie :D Gabby tips the scales at 16 pounds and I love all 256 ounces of her...LOL! Debbie, hope you find a wonderful forever home for her soon. Wish I lived closer, I'd take her:) Suzi |
Kourtney has found a new family! Hi to everyone and thanks to all of you who requested information on our yorkie girl! I am happy to announce she has been adopted by a wonderful family in Syracuse, NY. I know she will be spoiled rotten with them too! Just wanted to update everyone! Debbie |
I'm glad she found a new home and family! I wish her all the best. |
Debbie, So glad she has found a home. As you said in a previous post, the right family for her (and you) had not come along yet.....til now. Thanks for the update! Suzi |
