I will follow up this week to make sure he will be picked up no later than the 6th. I'm sure he will be in a foster home, if not a forever home, soon.

I was checking the Lancaster website for updates and Coco is no longer listed. When you search or enter his ID # it says no results found. I'm not sure if this is just an error, or if someone has picked him up. I will try calling tomorrow to find out.

He is definitely NOT listed any more. I went to where I had him saved as a favorite and it said "no longer available." I hope that means he was taken home with someone.

Oh thanks for trying to help. I hope he was rescued. I saw this and just couldn't believe it. How could you do that to your baby? Yorkies are small enough you can take them with when moving, that's what I did. Fingers crossed this baby finds love again

I'm hoping it will be good news. One of the rescue groups got back to me and said they were not able to take him in. The other that I contacted said they contacted other groups in the area in the hopes that someone had room for him. However, as I said earlier, the desk person at the shelter said that a group would take him on Friday if no one took him sooner. I work tomorrow and have a vet visit to check Bonnie's kennel cough so I may not be able to respond until the evening. Say a prayer😀 In hopes that he is in a nice warm bed tonight.

I could make room on the bed for one more little precious.

Have you got a phone number we could call and check on this baby....I think I will have DIED by tomorrow evening, worrying about this unfortunate little soul....maybe the place that took him in and now, no longer has him.....???

I actually live in Lancaster and my school is right down the street from the shelter. I had looked earlier in the day and also saw that he wasn't listed anymore but I was wanting to go see him. The phone number to the shelter is 6619404191.
