i only wish we could help also makes me sick too. when i look at petfinder.com and at all these babies who need homes. it is so very heartbreaking. i wish i could save them all as im sure we all wish we could. |
Aw poor baby! If the people at my shelter go there and see him they will rescue him for sure- our intake is under strict orders from me to rescue any and all yorkies or yorkieish dogs. I am sure he will get pulled if no one adopts him. I think we have so many yorkies and other small dogs here because we are so close to OK- home of puppymills :( |
I live in Dallas and thought I might be able to help out. I just called about this little guy and was told that he died a few days after being picked up maybe as a result of Kennel Cough.I was attempting to do a good deed but now I am feeling really bad. |

Oh how sad...I love Roxy, if you have room maybe contact a rescue in your area and become a foster parent. That way if something like this comes up again, a rescue might have some resources to help. Thanks for trying to help this little guy. People like you are so awesome! |
The shelter is saying he died of a massive stroke in kennel. :confused::confused::confused: He was pre-paid for on release date of today. The woman called who pre-paid and was told it died. I like someone else wonder if they put him down by mistake. So sad. The shelter did not even take the time to call and tell the lady. |
Horrible things happen to dogs every day in this state...others as well, but what I see here turns my stomach inside out. I beg and beg for foster homes but even if we once in a while find one it is not going to save them all. I just hate that so many are being bred without any regard for what will happen to them in the future. Let us ALL remember that most of them come from breeders and people who want to "show their children the miracle of birth". *GAG* This just kills me. I seriously doubt anyone will ever get to the truth of what happened to this poor little boy. :( |

Yorkie in Shelter He is beautiful. There is probably a very sad family looking for him. I agree with another post on here. Flood Facebook with his images and see if he can be reunited. If no success, then search for a new forever and loving home. |
