We have a tiny 9 week old puppy who needs to come into rescue. She is currently in VA. We were suppose to be getting her on Sat, but she needs to come in sooner to get the medical care she needs. We are afraid to wait to Sat and are hoping to get her by tomorrow and straight to Angell Memorial.

Is there anyone that can help in transporting her from VA heading up to Boston as soon as possible? We are able to drive also but need help getting her this way.

We have contacted a couple other rescues about taking her but we have not heard back yet. ( I am on my phone and will post once I am home on a computer )

Sending prayers for this sweet baby. Sounds like such a dire emergency, I pray someone can help and soon.

Thank you for the prayers.....

We are working on it....her owners are in the military and are moving this weekend and contacted us about taking her as she is too sick and fragile. She has been to the vet and it has been determined she has some neurological issues but we don't know what. She was doing ok till last night when she spiked a fever, stopped eatingm and was screaming.

Hoping we can get her here or into another rescue closer.

Could you fly down and then rent a car to drive her up yourself?

If I had more notice I could but I would need someone up here to watch my dogs......

The owner is trying to get on the road today.....please keep the pup named Hope in your prayers.

Still have not heard from rescue we contacted about taking her, so guess that is out.

Waiting to hear from someone who has adopted from us about transporting if thst is a go we should have her here in MA late tonight.

Trying to firm up plan and time arriving as we put a call into Angel and they have no neurologist scheduled for tomorrow but said if we have a time they will try to get one in.. We are hoping Dr. Sisson will come in as he specializes in GME, encephalitis, menegitis, etc which is what they are suspecting with her.

Why can't she be seen by a specialized Vet. in VA.? It would be worth doing that rather than putting her through such a long ordeal with trips, new people and all.

What about a vet school in the area...they have specialists and equipment....this poor little soul.....such a wonderful little name....HOPE.....

We tried contacting a couple rescues closer but have not heard back. We are only in NE and don't have members in VA. The owner needs to surrender the puppy as they are a military family and are being stationed in Hawaii. They are leaving this coming week... Heading to NJ then shipping out. We did ask about getting her to a speciality hospital in VA at least for a consult, and they said they are 5 hours away? Not sure about that but they did not seem to think it was an option as if she was to get admitted and needed to stay we dont have anyone down there and they are leaving.

So really are only option is to get her here. Her owners are going to transport her most of the ways they want her to get the medical care she needs.

Please keep her in your thoughts
