| His toe is clearing up! That is the first good news....second news is about his eyes. He was seen by an opthamologist yesterday and it was determined that he has dry eye. His tear ducts aren’t producing enough tears at this time. The opthamologist feels that this could be attributed to Baylor's lack of nutrition and care in his early weeks which can be very detrimental to development. The cloudiness is a direct result of the body’s response to protect the surface of the eyes from the dryness. So he is on Erythromycin eye drops 4 times daily and the vet feels that these drops will relieve the body from trying to compensate for the dry eyes and along with his better eating regimen and life style now, should clear this this issue up. We will follow-up in 2 weeks to make sure the drops are making Baylor’s eyes wet and pretty. That explains the strange look in his eyes in his pictures!

| So happy that Baylor is doing better. I so admire the ladies on this forum that take this precious babies into their homes and nurse them back to health. And then to allow someone else to adopt them. My prayers for all of you and the babies you tend. |

If you think you may want to foster at some time, PM your email address to me and I could give it to YHR's membership coordinator. She could explain what we do.

| I just received a PM from someone who seems to think that Baylor is not a real foster of YHR. So....I thought perhaps to clear things up a bit for those who might be confused, I would post a cute video of him playing with my foster Summer. This was taken during a recent visit where I was babysitting him for another foster home who also just happens to be a member of YT. ![]() And another of him playing ball in my yard....he is a fun puppy! ![]()

| Yes, he is a cutie pie! He is so lucky to be alive...his foster mom took wonderful care of him, setting her alarm clock to every 2 hours around the clock until he was stable. Very disturbing that people think we make such things up and use fake pictures.
