I am described as a female, brown Yorkshire Terrier.

The shelter thinks I am about 1 year..

I am waiting for my owner to find me.

Oh what a beautiful baby she is, and she will be even more beautiful after she get's the care she needs. I pray that some one get's this baby out of the shelter.

That's the saddest eyes I've ever seen. Can you imagine how long that poor baby has been itching to end up without hair. I doubt she has been sleeping but a minute here and there. Dear Lord, please send her someone to love her and make sure she never hurts again.

Why does it say she's waiting on her owner? I hope if someone does come in saying they are her owners, they get arrested on the spot for animal cruelty!!

I agree.....I got sick when I read that about the owner. :(

Please everyone say prayers for her .. that some wonderful angel gets her. I wish we had members in CA.

Oh my gosh!! You have got to be kidding me! Would they seriously give her back to them? :eek: Obviously, there is a neglect issue here. They should have been treating her! They don't deserve her back. I know that sounds harsh but geez! :mad:

Just got off the phone with OCAS and this little girl is about 1 yr old, weighs approximately 7.3 lbs and is suffering from SCABIES (mange) and is being given 2 more days...:eek:

I asked this Shelter worker what she meant by that and she said they've added two more days (till she is euthanized) since being there from the 29th...because NOBODY has bothered to come for her...owner or rescue!:mad:

Had to leave a message with their Adoption Coordinator to call me back:rolleyes:...and will update you all as soon as I hear back from her.

I am about 100 miles away from where she is located so, I'm hoping we can get her and into a foster home ASAP!

Praying we can get this lil' girl...my heart is just aching for her...not to mention how uncomfortable she looks right now!

Linda you are just like me...I see right into those eyes and can already envision the little treasure she will be once healed!

I hate people more and more as I see what they allow to happen to their pets!

A "little" update...a hold has been placed on this lil' gal by YTNR so, she at least doesn't have to have that two day limit hanging over her head.

Now the next hurdle is to find a petless foster home who can attend to her needs while she is contagious. Or, better yet would be if we can find a Vet Clinic locally who will allow her to board till this period is over.

One way or another...this lil' gal is going to get helped!

Please pray we can find a way to get this lil' gal outta that shelter fast...:hands:

ps...if anyone knows of a Vet Clinic in the Orange County (CA) area that will be willing to board and treat her temporarily or even a volunteer who has no other animals that would be willing to help out for just a few weeks, pm me!

Well, aside from the major itch factor and that she is in need of a spay, I was told she is in otherwise good condition.

The most pathetic part of her story was that this was completely treatable but, her owners obviously ignored it until they decided to let her loose to stray.

I agree with LJ I can kick in some money if needed as well. Thanks to everyone who is helping this little girl. She is adorable.

Update per Joann: She is waiting for the adoption coordinator to return her call. She has been busy making arrangements, and she did find a vet clinic that will take her in, however, still waiting for funding approval from ytnr.

I also see she is no longer on the site. I hope they took her down bc of the hold they agreed to for ytnr and not the other reason!
