Another Puppy mill closing!!

This is horrible, I've never seen anything like this before. OMG people (or do we call them people ) doing this to our helpless animals. Something really needs to be done to change the abusive treatment and neglect. I'm blown away, just watching that video.

Someone really needs to step and take some legal action or write new laws to correct this terrible injustice

We need to find the right person and file legal against someone. Give me some names, I'll make some calls.
These people need to be stopped ...........NOW

I'm not a very happy person right now, this just made me sick.

unfortunately what they are doing is perfectly legal.. this is NO law against it.

However, do you realize these auctions are held at least once a month or more often with a kennel going out of business or PM's just wanting to move "stock" around?? Our rescue has not only been pulling Yorkies (and other breeds occasionally) from shelters and accepting owner surrenders for a year and a half now, we have been pulling them from auctions as well.

The thing that amazes me, is that our organization was BASHED not too long ago on this site for doing exactly what was done here. I am glad each of the babies you rescued will now have a wonderful Christmas and many more wonderful days to come!!

This is the first time save a pet has done this and only because the PM was going out of business. The letter the shelter manager wrote on her first time experience at an auction was so revealing and so sad. She said that between her and the other rescuers they were able to get out half of the 250 dogs. I am sorry your organization was bashed but personally any one saved no matter how is another one who will not live a life of hell. I admire people like you and the many other rescues who do this all the time.

I know I had never seen anything like this before and felt compelled to help out. I know most shelters and rescues are hurting financially and over crowded so anyone that can help out their rescues or shelters helps in the long run.
