You guys help me out with this. Im sick to my stomach. Any suggestions. My husband will kill me if I brought Fierce home for good. Maybe temp but thats it. I can pay the fee to get him out but cant keep him... |

I just spoke with the shelter and he is in Iso for 1 week. He has an upper respiratory infec. Kennel Cough. He was vac and neutered last week. Im going to call in a couple of days to see how he is doing. He is an owner surrender. |
Hi! I am in Houston but will be traveling through the Dallas area to KC on July 9th. Let me know if there is anything I can do. There is also an AWESOME yorkie rescue in League City...Maybe I could bring him down with me? Let me know what I can do to help :) |

If you are referring to Yorkie Haven Rescue, the main address used on Petfinder is League City, but the rescue is not there! That is because Petfinder requires a physical address for all groups. The rescue is foster based in individual homes all over the US. |

YHR has no foster space and everyone I contacted is in the same situation. I have seen some bad streaks before, but lately it is just awful. Yorkies are popping up all over in TX. It sounds like this shelter is going to keep him until he has a home. They vaccinated and neutered him, so I am sure that is the case. |

I spoke with my friend about him, she is talking to her husband, I even offered to take him in if he did not fit into her home (she has 2 other small dogs) but I cant take him until I move in a few weeks. I would be all over fostering him, but I have 3 yorkies in an apartment that only allows 1! |

Not sure if you guys know but I was going to pick up Feirce today for a wonderful Yorkie member. Well, of all days my boss had me work longer and when I arrived at the shelter there was a man playing with Feirce and the shelter told me first come first serve. Well, he left, we thought, and the shelter worker took me in a room and there was Feirce, she wanted us to get acquaited, but all of a sudden she walks back in and said the man adopted him. I was sick to my stomach but happy that he got home. Wanted to make sure and I planted my behind outside and waited to make sure this guy was for real. Sure enough about 15 min later he comes walking out with Feirce in his arms and got into a real nice car. It figures, just my luck, I was upset and hit "my favorite" store on the way home. Thanks for your shoulder to cry on Ladyjane. And Bless you DaisySantol, I promise your new baby will come. Such wonderful people on YT.... |
There was a Gorgeous Welch Corgi sitting in his cage at the shelter. Anyone know of a Corgi rescue. I called all the numbers on the web and no answer some disconected. |
I will ask around for a Corgi rescue. Thank you SO much for all you did to look out for Fierce. I am so sorry he did not go to DaisySantola and her Baby because I know it was a good home for him. We have to hope and pray that he has a wonderful home and a new life without worries. Everything happens for a reason....I have a feeling that we will all know that reason soon. I will bet there is a perfect match out there for Baby! :) |
